Tonight: EBU HeavyWeight title, Erkan Teper v David Price

Like MVC! said, too nice for boxing. If you can't get a slugger's attention with that power and size, you need to call it.

 

Price was terrible there, and Teper looked like a club fighter himself... but as much as I hate to admit it.. Rico's right.. that's a glass chin. Wasn't even a great shot really... it was on the end of the shot.. there's no reason a guy at HW at his size can't take that shot.

He needs to retire.. he had to conviction with any punches he threw and he fought scared.

 

That was embarrassingly bad. Just awful to watch.

Such a terrible jab and after throwing about 3 jabs, I could see he would lose.

Why does such a big guy have such a terrible jab?

He started to really remind me of Audley in there. Such a shame and a waste.

Also as earlier mentioned, that was never a "knock you out cold" punch.

It just clipped him. I think I would have taken that shot and i'm 140 lbs.

 

Holyfield wouldn't have even flinched from Teper's KO shot of Price, he has to retire before someone does it for him.

 

That KO was scary and it didn't even have full force. Price is just a sitting duck now. Pack it in before you really get hurt for good.

 

And Price has less punch resistance now, than a 42 year old 12 times over KTFO; Danny Williams. He literally goes sparko into zongo zongo land at the first half clean shot that lands on his jaw.

I even would fancy Danny Williams to crack that china now. Simply because Price is now fighting scared as a very scared scaredy cat, not even using his jab to keep his opponent off of him.

 

Price is done... Stick a fork in him. Feel bad, I was always a fan. Seems like a nice guy as well. Has some tools, but too many flaws for his own good.

 

No just no........ You obviously haven't seen Williams fight in the last 4 years have you? He is shot to absolute bits. There are posters on this board who could beat him.

 

Not hard to see coming. Turks are very experienced at beating the **** out of Brits.

 

Retire - Price is not a boxer and it shows every time he eats a punch.

I think he is referring to football violence, the Turkish fans are mental and have a history of wailing on Brits whenever the opportunity arises.
