    hes 34 soon, and not all his defences are world title defences. He wont make it likely than not.

    He very well may but I would say it's more likely that he tastes defeat or rises up in weight full time before 7 more MW title defenses.

    No. Not really. He had to fight Trinidad before he could lure Joppy, De La Hoya, and Taylor into the ring with him. Before that, it was just a ten year stream of no hopers, and before that Roy Jones upsetting his first try at a title.
