i dont think Frampton looked that bad. Granted he was alot easier to hit than in previous fights but he showed alot of heart and grit after the knockdowns In parts he was boxing lovely. After watching both him and Crolla last night i still Favour Frampton 100%. Quigg looked uncomfortable untill he threw that peach of a uppercut

I tuned in from round 2 and Carl boxed superbly winning every round. He made the adjustments and boxed smart after the 10-7 round. Nothing wrong with that. Of course it leaves questions over his punch resistance and that's where Quigg may have the upper hand now.

I also don't like the weight excuse. Carl had a phone interview with IFL during fight week where he was raving about how the heat in Texas was allowing him to take off weight easily.

Anybody with half a boxing brain knows Frampton is a decent fighter, BUT, he was less than stellar against an absolute nobody.

Instead of showing some integrity and humility, he decides to make out Gonzalez is some World beater, and blames the soft canvas and weight issues.

Frampton is not the best fighter in the division.

Is not the A side of anything.

Is not the biggest puncher in the division.

Expect him to move to FW in the very near future, then TALK about how he'd have beaten Quigg.

I agree with you mate that Frampton is not the best in the division that accolade belongs to Rigondeaux. I do beleive though he is the A side of the fight between him and Quigg if it were to happen. your right hes not the biigest puncher in the division, hes probably not even the biggest puncher out of him and the man from Bury. I hope that was just talk after the fight saying he might move up in weight because this fight has been talked about for far to long and needs to happen

He might well look back and regret not taking the £1.5m and if he really fancies his chances why not take the 60/40 offer to the winner.

Not based just on last night as I've said before but I think Quigg is too powerful for him.

Carl is very big for the weight very big and IMO would be the best thing for him to move up, in saying that Scott is every bit as big, the problem both would have is the featherweight division has some real quality operators in it, would either win a world title is questionable

Scott isn't the A-Side of anything either. He's never done a show with big numbers without Crolla (a huge ticket seller) on it.

Scott isn't the best fighter in the division. Rigo holds that title.

Scott isn't even the biggest puncher.

However you carve the cake, Quigg has just battered Martinez in four minutes. No case can be made that this is somehow proof he is WORSE than his detractors made out. Therefore he can only be, errr, a bit better.

I genuinely don't care who might win a fight out of Frampton and Quigg as neither interest me that much and I've hardly seen either throw a punch. That said, Frampton is a putz for turning down 1.5m for this fight - no matter if it is a pick'em. That sort of money in lower weight class for two boxers who are not 'crossover' in any sense? Crazy.

Quigg never sold himself as anything.

Frampton and the clowns around him said, and i quote.

Carl is the most exciting fighter in the division.

The only man in the division capable of beating Rigo.

Is the biggest puncher in the division.

He's the A side in a fight between him and Quigg.

Quigg meanwhile has always been humble, and respectfull.

He's let his fists do the talking instead.

Quigg being humble? Laughable. He knew he brought nothing to the table, hence why he had Eddie speaking for him.

Quigg claims he's the best super bantam in the world, he just said it in his last IFLtv interview ffs
