I think its awesome that Berto will get a payday. Surely Pacquiao, Alvarez, Cotto, nor Maidana deserve another payday from Floyd.

The best thing about it is seeing amir khan go totally bonkers and see how he rationalizes 'letting the Brook fight get bigger than Mayweather vs Pacquiao' as he stated in the last interview I saw.

Brook has a great yorkshire accent 'lissen, ee's gettin knocked owt, queen khan ya gettin eet'

I think Khan is an exciting fight for a few rounds but Mayweather will time him and knock him on his ass a few times imo, it's something I'd like to see for a few rounds but it's also humorous seeing him understand he can't put pressure on Floyd to get picked when he isn't a stand out amongst the crop that's left. Five times better than Berto obviously, I'd prefer Khan but it's also entertaining seeing how he reacts to every little move whilst claiming he's not bothered. And it might push the Brook fight closer. Might.

I would've liked to seen him fight Cotto for the MW title (an easy fight that would help his legacy) or Gennady at 154 lbs. Gennady really is the only guy IMO that can truly challenge him around his weightclass.

I used to think lara would pose a real tough challenge as well, but I haven't been impressed with him for a few years now and I've been under the impression for the last year or so he really wouldn't have a chance because of his low punch output and his occasional sloppiness in the ring.

So basically, him not fighting GGG makes whoever the challenger is a cherrypick . I don't see anyone having a chance against him aside from Golovkin. And honestly, for as dangerous as Gennady is, he's no sure shot guarantee to win that fight at 154 lbs.

Ok I'll bite. Why do you keep saying "casuals?" You think I'm one? Why because I casually post here? I have a life. Or do you think I'm a casual fan? Do you know any boxers besides Floyd? You can be a Floyd fan, but that don't make you a boxing fan. And my "opinion doesn't matter"? Why because it's different than yours? You really need to belong to something huh? OH, and 2007 called they were wondering if you were done with the word "hater" if they could get that back. Also 1827 called to see if you were done with "whoop".

Pimp I actually like you. You do know your stuff. I like a nice spirited debate from time to time though lol. BUT you need a different follower lol what's with this guy?

Yeah i only know Floyd...:hi: And youre still a casual, floyd has no one left to fight, why not fight a former ww champ whos been at this weightclass his entire career.... brook just showed up last year, thurman still needs tuning, and dont even mention khan, maybe porter might satisfy you but honestly i think ur a govlokunt who wants to see a mw against a ww... and only casual fans complain and are never satisfied even if they watch for free,. Its obvious what kind of fan you are..

Probably as Mayweather will try fight C level Berto, Pac didn't have to put up a fight as all he was on the receiving end of was hugs.

How long did you look at google to make sure Brook couldn't "whoop" Floyd...or Thurman couldn't "whoop" him? How could you stand there with that look on your face :nut and say Thurman still needs "tuning"? Were you around when Floyd fought Ortiz? or how about Gurrero? (who beat Berto). And I don't even like Thurman lol. I just don't get why anyone would say Berto's earned this...he hasn't! If you are a fan were you around when Ortiz beat Berto? Or how about the ultimate gate keeper Soto karass? There's a lot of guys Floyd could've fought and got more respect than Berto. You have to AT LEAST admit that.

Golovkin isn't around his weight class though, he fought twice at 154 and weighed in well below that.

People worried about who Floyd fights next but nobody mentions the recent opponents of the rest of the ww's.
