Who would win? Algieri or Berto

    Who do you pick?

    I see a whole lot of chat from the nutswingers from both sides (you know the 2 groups im meaning). Floyds "boys" bagging on Pacquiao for fighting Rio's and Algieri by saying that Berto is on par or above that level :patsch

    Then you have the other side. The Manny nut huggers bagging on Floyd pleading that Floyd is this and that. I think the emotions are still high from Floyd defeating Manny :rofl

    So, who do you pick?

    Personally. I think Algieri actually makes reasonably easy work of Berto. If Provo, Pacquiao and Khan couldn't get Algieri out of there, Berto isn't either. Algieri is a pretty talented boxer whether it is on the back or front foot, as he proved against Khan, Provo and Pacquiao. He has susceptible whiskers but what he lacks int he chin department, he makes up for in heart.

    On the other hand, you have Berto who went life and death with Victor Ortiz and has never looked the same since. He was less than lacklustre against Soto Karass & similarly against Guerrero in 2 of his recent defeats. He also has suspectible whiskers. But in comparison to Berto, Algieri is packing a different type of pudding. Berto's chin has and will continue to be shattered. Neither Guerrero or Soto should have been able to inflict the damage they did on Berto. The same can not be said for Algieri against arguably higher calibre opponents.

    I see Algieri winning by decision and both fighters being stunned in the fight.

    journeyman? LOL yet you prop up jackiewiz like he's the second coming because he beat Zaveck once, and lost to him another time. If Berto is a journeyman Jackiewiz is the biggest scrub of all time. He has Zaveck, Quintana, Hernandez, Josesito, Urango, Collazo etc on his resume.

    Algieri by easy UD , Berto has been exposed several times Algieri is an underated fighter with decent skills and big heart ,easy work for chris.

    It would actually probably be a pretty entertaining fight that could go either way. I favor CA with JDJ over Berto a little but this actually would be a pretty good even fight.

    Jackiewiz was a top 10 rated fighter when Brook took him apart.

    Berto is not even top 20 right now. You do realize all but one of those wins (against Lopez who's another journeyman) was a long time ago and before Berto was exposed as a PED cheat?
