i was watching videos of roy jones and shane mosely hitting a double end bag the cables seem very tight compared to my setup that uses bungee cords, any suggestions on what type of cables to use to make it tighter?

I have the same problem. My double end bag doesn't bounce back so fast like theirs

yeah i have made them tighter and i also bought smaller cords but they dont tighten up the bag they just raise/lower the height of the bag

i prefer the cords on my double end bag not so tight... when theyre just a bit loose, the bag has more freedom instead of bouncing STRAIGHT back..bit more of a challenge that way

Try replacing the bottom bungee with rope
