Wtf? Is the schedule accurate or is this an error? If it is, where can Canucks watch this fight (legally)?
Boxing is nothing in Canada. Even casual fans here only know Floyd, Manny and Cotto. All of my friends are MMA fans and the only reason I put up with the idiots on this site is because there is no one else to discuss boxing with.
It sucks, the reason it's not on HBO Canada is because Jean Pascal is on the undercard and here in Montreal you have to dish out $54.99 to watch it on PPV
Truer words never spoken. Although for some reason, this site in all it's madness and stupidity still has a certain appeal that others don't. I think that there's just so much trolling and idiocy here, that it sometimes becomes entertaining.
Which part of Canada? I know in Halifax (which used to have a burgeoning boxing scene), boxing discussion has been superseded by MMA. I imagine that holds true in pretty much any place but Montreal.
Western Canada. In BC Jiujitsu is god, and all they care about is "who'd you get your belt from?" Boxing isn't even a blip on the radar.
Yeah, that's the exception to the rule as far as Canada is concerned. Kind of sad, because boxing used to have a fair amount of popularity up here, regardless of region.
It's horse ****. I go through Shaw and have phoned so many times, they always say "Its because HBO Canada isnt truely HBO" and claim they arent in control of their ****. Boils my ****. If you switch to Telus apparently its live and always on.
In Montréal ( which I remind you, is part of canada ) we have: Lemieux, Pascal, Bute, Beterbiev ... I don't know where you live but I think you're not in the good spot in canada.
Yea I couldn't find it either, I was ticked when I realized they weren't showing it, whenever pascal fights they don't show the card on reg HBO and last time made it PPV. BS
I am in toronto as well it also hurts boxing that the fights casuals do see are mostly Mayweather and obviously they find it boring compared to the violence of MMA
