Question: Are you happy with the current state of boxing?

the top money maker is not respecting mandatories, just uses one drug testing protocol, making all undue advantages, fighting only in vegas where the ref and judge are influnced, etc which is giving a wrong signal for up and coming future boxers. then winning just by pot shotting with lots of hugging and running like the amateurs. boxing is going in the wrong direction. the fans and paying fans are scammed.

 

Boxing used to be an exciting part of my life.

I didn't even bother to watch the cards from the weekend. I used to watch nearly EVERY big card.

Boxing is so rubbish now. It seems to be more about the build ups, trash talking, hip hop, money and hoes. The actual skill and good match ups have been tossed.

 

Fighters like Ward are ruining boxing.

Better than it's been for a while, not perfect but could be a lot worse.

Very happy. Good matchups, organizations are allowing unifications and enforcing mandatories. Much better than e.g. the 90s which was full of politics, failed fights and mandatory spots being worthless.

If I eat/see alphabet tomato soup, it reminds me of the current state of boxing. I think that answers the question that I'm not pleased.
