Career wise (regarding legacy rather than money) I don't think it was a good move for DeGale, but I think it might work for Selby.

As long as he is in world class fights I don't care were it is, as jong as its entertaining which I think Selby can be, sometimes he could be abit more ruthless but good fighter

Well that's the thing. I don't think Haymon would risk his top assests against Selby otherwise, and the guys with Arum- Senchenko and Walters namely- present sterner tests in my opinion hene why I think it's a good move.

They've always seemed to get on well, although reading between the lines I don't think Hearn was happy with DeGale going with him.

Didn't get degale as the only money fight for him in the States is a no-go (ward/jay-z/Beyoncé) and the money/big fights for him is in Europe.

The likes of selby and brook make total sense however, not that many big fights for them here compared to the states

Think with Brook though, unlike Selby, he will become a regular PPV headliner over here.

DeGale seemed to have that option too, and I was liking Eddie's plans for him (a profile building fight over here against a 'name' but not to dangerous fight like Kessler, Bute or Murray, followed by a mando, followed by Groves) hopefully Haymon listens to Hearn.

It's because in the USA they aren't use to Selby's slick black style. :deal
