He is only 24 at the minute. His losses to Saunders and Murray came when he was 20.

He's the current British champ, how much higher can he go?

    Fringe world level at best.

I agree. Seems to be a lot of decent prospects at middleweight too which would stand in his way

I see him losing a very game but ultimately doomed attempt at a world title. Does most things pretty well but nothing exceptional and I'm afraid is just too open defensively to really cut it at anything above fringe world level...shame cuz I love his attitude to the sport, he's a real fighting man.

I think euro level at best, however if he does get a world title shot he will be in with a chance against the right type of opponent. as like Carl Froch, his best rounds are always 10, 11 and 12 so if someone gasses against him then they will be in trouble.

Even domestically he isn't in the top 5, its a competitive divison. Good fighter but won't be a world champion

Euro level certainly and probably a world title shot which imo he will fall short in a no doubt game effort.

Like Martin Murray a real fighting man that would take on anyone and kudos to him also when you take in his lack of amateur experience. He is learning on the job.

Good thread nice to see a sensible topic discussed!

He has a great engine on him and he is great to watch. Good signing by Mick in fairness. He may sneak a world title later in his career if the right opponent is right.

European, maybe he'll get a world title shot, he needs to learn to start fights quicker, he cant afford slow starts with world class opposition in front of him

True. Good finisher like Froch too, once he has his man hurt

Hopefully Mick can steer him in the right direction towards a world title.
No matter what belt Nick fights for he'll give it his all. Great to watch. I'm looking forward to Nick's next fight. Hopefully Mick can get him on the Fury bill
