Firstly it was a really great night for British boxing , really enjoyed it.

However when I watched the fight again this morning I think Coyle will really be disappointed with himself and his tactics.

To simply bum rush a tall quick fighter is boxing suicide. Coyle can box , watch him against Matthews and for those 9 rounds he was quick on his feet with a good jab and used very good angles.

Against a better fighter in Campbell all he did was run in on straight lines and got hammered.

Yes he was always going to be up against it , but I think he made it easy for Campbell.

    peace.

Questions still remain about Campbell after this one. Coyle had some success with left hooks to the body. He continually fell short with straight rights that would have landed had he a bit more reach. If Coyle had just been a bit better, with a longer reach....who knows?????

Coyle did what he does and in my opinion exposed Campbell a bit

Coyle was awful, there were actually times he just ran head first in to Campbell, not even behind a jab, just a straight run up leading with his head.

Jamie Moore needs to answer a few questions to also, if that is what he worked on with Coyle then being a trainer isn't for him. Was there even a gameplan? Was there a plan A and plan B? It looked amateur all around in my opinion, if thinking "roughing up" Campbell was a gameplan and that's the best they had then it's time to part ways anyway. It was embarrassing from Coyle and from Moore.

Coyle is so vulnerable and Campbell made it look hard work at times, it should have been a relatively easy night and it was to a certain extent but Coyle is poor, very poor and he managed to drag Campbell 10 rounds.

It left so many questions for me.

Agreed... But luke gave him a pure boxing lesson.....and moore just is training a domestic level fighter. . No. Matter what tactics they had.... He was well out of his depth.... Quick payday tho.... Ultimatly thats What is boiled down to

True Marv, I suppose Moore can only do so much but there was no obvious gameplan and that was disturbing.

Coyle just run/moved in straight lines, backwards and forwards and let's be honest you would give a novice amateur a volley for doing that.

And yes Campbell beat Coyle comfortably but Coyle is so vulnerable and Campbell took 10 rounds to get him.

I thought that Coyle got it right, he was never in my opinion going to win that fight, if he tried to box him in any way he would have been taken out much earlier. He had to go roughhouse tactics and the simple facts are, he wasn't good enough. Coyle is not a bad fighter at all, in my opinion it just shows how good Campbell is and how good he can be.

Some of you live in a dream land. Was Coyle meant to outbox an Olympic Gold medallist? Do me a favour.

I agree mate. Tbh my opinion of campbell has gone down slightly.there was nothing special about his performance and although we keep getting reminded that he was the best am weve ever had hes certainly not the best performing pro for where hes at. Kev mitchell stepping up to 12rds was in with a rock hard champ like carl .johanneson and put in a top class performance. Campbell wont be ready for a world title shot in a year imo. Crolla mitchell flanagan burns would all beat him atm and if they all stayed at there current rate there would only be burns out of them id give him a chance with a yr doen the line

100% agree. He had that amateur mentality of being completely unwilling to accept that people can rough him up. Was a bit frustrating to watch his whinging.
