Glad to see Damiani is finally getting his just dues ,he was a very great farter. One slight correction ,Marciano trained at Pacino's Gym he was managed by Al " the Vest " ,Pacino, his trainer was little Charlie Chaplin ,would would hit him with his cane if he missed with his Quzie Sue punch.By the way Marciano was Jewish.

Damiani was decent. He was beating Mercer up pretty good before he took a bad angled shot that busted his nose.

There's no way he would stand up to Joe Louis though. He take some good shots before falling around 5 or 6.

It is too bad this thread is so bizarre. I think Damiani was an underrated fighter who had quite a bit of talent.

Damiani cruises through the first round using his jab and left hook to keep the Bomber away..2nd the same and then throws his right uppercut knocking Louis's mouthpiece and two front teeth into the third row..... if u reply to this post ---ur a damn idiot....

Damiani had movement. And angles. Modern angles.

He was lined up to fight Tyson at some point, before Buster Douglas came along.

That would have been Damiani ko Tyson 10 surely? ??

He could move in all directions including straight down if hit properly. Advanced movement.

Damiani got bonked on the nose and fell down and go boom.

Marciano got his nose split clear in two and it just pissed him off and made him knock Ezzard out.
