Cyborg is Scared of Me, Ronda Rousey

Good, accurate assessment. :deal

To me, Rousey is a fine Judoka. But her opponents have been fed to her under meticulous circumstances. It nearly cancels out at this point. She's going to continue fighting in mismatches because Dana White has the hype train going now. They don't want to introduce a higher weight class because they don't want to risk her losing to anyone, nor do they want Cyborg to enter the UFC and steal any of Rousey's spotlight (which would lead to more people calling for a Rousey-Cyborg catchweight bout).

I tend to agree with you that Rousey would get a sub victory, purely based on styles here. The problem is, we'll never know for sure because they're intentionally putting up obstacles to prevent getting those two from sharing an octagon.

They're going to do all they can to ensure that Rousey's chances of winning are as close to 100% as possible or no fight.

 

What obstacles are in her way? I'm being realistic here. Ronda may now very well be the biggest draw in all of MMA. She doesn't have to bow to the wishes of Cyborg, who isn't a draw, and isn't known very well outside of hardcore MMA fans.

It also does not make financial sense for the UFC to make the fight in the manner that Justino wants it. If they do the fight at 140 or 145, and Cyborg wins, what on earth does the UFC do with her? She isn't a draw. She isn't marketable. They do not have a 145 division. 145 is even weaker than 135. It's her problem she can't make the weight. She's a massive roid freak.

People claim Ronda just fights 125er's. Cyborg would probably have nearly 20 pounds on her on fight night if they fought at 145. Who knows what she would bloat up to if they fought at 140.

People want to talk about Ronda's advantages. But not Cyborg's. The truth is, Cyborg has to bend for Ronda, not the other way around.

If they fight, Ronda will win and all the haters will make excuses for why Ronda won and try to claim it wasn't legit. Cyborg is a sloppy striker that basis most of her success on being massive. The Cyborg that fought Gina Carano would get treated like a can by Ronda. Gina mounted her twice and Cyborg only got out of the situations due to Gina not knowing what do to.

Cyborg also walks right into clinches. She infact instigates most of them against the cage. Wonder what would happen if she did that with Ronda? I think we know it would involved a throw, then emergency surgery on whatever limb Ronda decides to injure.

I keep hearing Ronda's fans hope for this. Lets be real here... I saw Ronda clinch a talentless neophyte named Bethe Correia twice, attempting to throw her twice and FAIL. Bethe showed in her fight vs Shana Baszer that she's an awful grappler. If a small inexperience awful grappler like Bethe could successfully guard Ronda's throw game then what makes anyone think Ronda will be successful in a throw attempt vs a much stronger, bigger veteran like Cyborg?

Nothing against Ronda at all. Cyborg is too big and strong. She struggles making 145. Cyborg will look like a Holocaust POW in her effort to make bantamweight.

My prediction; these two will never fight. They arent the same size anymore
