Unfortunately I cannot prove it either. I never saw or take anything or personally administered them to her. Even if I did they would demand video then they would say she was given fake gear or placebos. The personality cult around this ***** is so pervasive that she could be filmed unloading a pick up truck full of babies with a pitch fork and her army of fan boys would defend her actions.
floyd mayweather has not knocked anyone out legitimately since hatton in 2007 yet he is proclaimed as the best ever , i guess "striking" is over rated my many fight fans these days . anyway for an MMA fighter i would imagine making your opponent tap-out is far more prestigious than a KO .
I think we will see more striking from Ronda in the next few fights. This bout she was looking a bit hesitant striking for as long as she did, maybe had the instinctive desire to go for the take down and sub at certain moments, but she persisted to strike and it paid off. I don't think she would exchange the way she did with a more challenging striker just yet. The performance was a stepping stone for her to become more comfortable and experienced using boxing in competition, and that was probably her team's goal in this fight.
I don't know, IB. Just a few fights ago, she looked pretty bad in this particular area. Though it was very brief, check out her meeting with Sara McMann. Ronda was getting lit up from the outset by an opponent whose stand-up is virtually novice-tier. It would've been interesting to see what happened if that fight had went on for a bit longer (I don't think McMann was "finished" when it was stopped). Ronda quickly realized she was in over her head in the stand-up there. I've also seen her throw leads with her chin over her knee in recent fights. The great thing is, she's got professionals helping her improve her stand-up game, which is good for her.
People underestimate how hard it is to pick up boxing as an adult. There's a reason why most of the technically efficient boxers start as toddlers in the amateurs and have already had dozens if not hundreds of amateur matches before turning pro. As far as Ronda is concerned...her hands have improved a lot since her Strikeforce days. It looks much smoother in practice when she's doing the boxing drills in camp. Its going to be a while, if ever, for her to be technically sharp (ie mixing offense with defense) on the big stage under the bright lights because the people she spars with in camp cant go all out on her and her actual competitions arent lasting long enough
:good She does have a leg up on many in the sport though, by (wisely) sparring and training with real boxers.
I know that but i had so much enjoyment reading what you'd written i thought i join in..The funny thing the personality cult seems to think that the majority of PPV's are from people wanting to watch womens MMA i wonder how many PPV's an all female card will sell lol IIs men buying those PPV's I Men are not big fans of women fighting in any sport.....Women are fun to watch either stripping or mud wrestling which leads to stripping....The only reason women are being watched is cause they are sandwiching them between guy fights.. The fact Mayweather never heard of Rousey should tell you something Not into womens boxing not into womens MMA Woman that have potty mouths are ugly I respect Cyborg she's a warrior Rhonda thinks shes one but her actions show deep down shes scared..She should be ashamed that mouth of hers I heard they made a porn movie with a girl that looks like her..LMAO I know if i was the other actor in that movie the first thing i put in her mouth to shut it up
