Once a myth begins it becomes fact for some bizarre reason.

Groves can do 12 rounds, but lets face it he doesn't look comfortable doing it. Lets face it stamia isn't one of his strengths

i reckon Groves is going to absolutey destroy Jack.

I love the fact he's locked himself away from all his familiarities up in Big Bear. He's certainly not making the mistake of going over to the US too late i the camp.

He'll be well acclimatised to the heat and time zone. Very professional planning by the ginger ninja, fairplay to him.

    Based on what?

GG's been knocked out more times then Jack.

From Badou's 150 amateur fights i find 4 TKO losses (in 2% of the fights)

(one against Usyk, now a cruiserweight, Ismail Sillakh (lhw), Matvej Korobov (two time WC, mw) and Evgenij Makarenko (two time lhw World champion)
and from his 21 professional fights i find 1 TKO (5%).

I find no statistics from GG's about 70 am fights but from his 24 pro fights he's been TKO'd twice (8%).

In my opinion the statistics is a bit light to draw any bigger conclusions.

Based on the fact GG was stopped by a very respected world champion (some people even had him in their p4p list) who had previously stopped a number of other champions/contenders in two highly competitive fights and Jack was KO'd in 1 by journeyman Derek F*cking Edwards.

    I'm still not convinced.

GGs also been KOd in both of his word title bouts while the Ripper won his.

To compare fights of more similar importance and competition.

And how can "being stopped" (regardless of opponent) ever be counted in favor for a fighter?!

I know. Therefore i find it hard to question his chin, based solely on thoose two fights. I also find it hard to question Jacks chin based on one fight.

Big difference between the only legitimate stopping in groves career being a punch from the gods from a hall of fame and jack getting chinned by a journeyman

Meh. If Groves wins this by KO and defends well along the way I'll admit he's got his mojo back. He's not convincing me thus far post-Cobra.....
