He's been fighting world class competition for 16 years, and has been knocked out 3 times in 67 fights. I don't care how good you are defensively, you're going to get hit fighting at the top level that long. Glass doesn't last.

Before his last win, he and Lennox got knocked out at the exact same rate of once every 22 fights. Rather than turning this into a ****ing contest between the two, allow me to back both because I've seen Lewis accused of having a glass jaw too, and it's nonsense.

My 2 cents is if you took the guys from even the 70's and before and had them fight their entire careers against the full sized heavyweights from the last 30 or so years, instead of the mostly Cruiserweight or light heavyweight sized guys they did fight, they'd get knocked out at a worse rate. You fight enough, you're going to get caught and even an average punching 225 pound pro has the power to end it better than a 185 pounder that has good pop for his size.

Heck, most were already knocked out at a comparable rate or worse fighting the smaller punchers.

Maybe Wladimir gets more flak because Lennox never got hammered around the ring looking rediculous and getting dropped multiple times.
Of course, when Lennox got dropped he never beat the count. Wladimir gets up. So who's chin is better?
It is funny because they have both taken very solid shots from pretty big punchers on other occasions. Ah, the mysteries of the mandible😜

Just in the last 15 years we have had the following belt holders with worse chins than Wlad:

    - Rahman
    - Maskaev
    - Roy Jones Jr
    - David Haye

You don't seem to have much of a clue about boxing

A great puncher? Are you one of those people who tries to bend the rules by justifying someone who was never a great fighter = they cannot be a great puncher?

Pretty sure Sam Peter could throw bombs. Corrie Sanders? How about the fact that guys today are bigger and stronger than guys back then, meaning they all likely hit in the same ballpark. No, muscle and size does not automatically mean you can punch, but it means there is more force and weight behind it.

Congrats. You're grasping at straws trying to bash a guy who is 62-3 or whatever he is, has not lost in 10 years, and is likely the most dominant champion at HW we have ever seen.

Not sure about Liakovich and Byrd, but Wilder for sure, I would fancy Charlie Zelenoff to knock him out in a rematch

Sanders is the only real black mark. I don't count Purrity or Brewster as being chin at all, both gas issues. Peter 1 was just Wlad buying time. So 25 championship fights and only one bad night against a noted big puncher. Not much evidence there.

only one of his stoppages had to do with this Chin. That is what makes this so funny. He has been Chinned once in his career. Compare that to Patterson, Lennox, Tyson, Frazier, Louis, who were knocked out multiple times each.

Your BF Wilder's chin is far worse. KO'd by a Russian CW half his size in the amateurs, floored by Sconiers, buzzed by Molina. Man that chin is pure china. One of the worst in the business.
