Ward was phenomenal today, himself and Conlan are certs for gold. Walsh will hopefully medal too. Wouldn't discount Nolan either, if he can beat the APB #1, he stands a chance against the Russian WSB guy
yup ward was top class, that's his hardest fight of the tournament out of the way now him and conlon have it in the bag bar injury Nolan has confidenece now, wonder how this Russian will be suited to 3 rounders against an ackward fighter like Nolan, you never know walsh should get to the semis and qualify if he has anything about him, he got a lovely draw too
Id settle for seeing any fight for Keeler full stop. He should be fighting regularly. He is slipping into the curse of inactivity - and he doesnt seem to be posting on here anymore either...:think
It most certainly should! Brother managed to get us tickets in the corporate boxes. Hopefully, we'll still be able to feel the atmosphere! Cant wait!
Cheers Fra I dont be on the laptop much with the Sun out here in California! Spent a bit of time with Quigley last week the boy just oozes class golden boy are really high on him I was speaking to Robert Diaz (one of golden boys match makers) and he said they're looking to step him up to 8 rounders with a better level of opposition for his next fight so hopefully we will see more rounds Also HBO are apparently very interested in him so he could get on the televised part of GGG-Lemieux or Cotto-Canelo, his team said something big was coming but refused to pin down which card he would be on but they did say he cant be off tv much longer
Fighting 5th September Leeds on Josh Warrington undercard quiet on this have my hands full with twin boys ha ,had a great training camp helping Buglioni prepare for his postponed world title sparring 6 rounds twice a week with him so in great form , sparring 6 rounds with Spike today so be in good form for the 5th even with the sleep deprivation 😂
Great stuff from Nolan, beating the Russians 2-1 in head to head bouts and I heard O'Neill was unlucky not to get the nod against Tischenko. The talent in Ireland is unreal considering were one of the smallest boxing nations in Europe !
