And he will beat GGG. There, I first said it! GGG is a slow poddler (the mexican style), the best of them all, but a slow poddler nonetheless.
He is not fast either. He has great timing, hits like a truck, paces himself like no one, throws a large spectrum of different punches, but Lemieux will make him look slow.
David L. uses his speed to go on the attack, he is not some slick boxer who will out-skill GGG. I think since he uses his speed offensively he could hit GGG with some good shots, more than were used to him getting hit.
Golovkin is not slow nor a plodder. Lemieux is fast, but leaves himself open which is bad when you're facing an opponent with great power, timing, and counter punching ability. Lemieux won't shock the world :-/
Quite a few of GGG's last opponents have had a hand speed advantage and I'd say out of the last 5-6 they've won about 2 rounds between them...
He has excellent timing and spatial awareness. His feet are in the right position as well as his body to get maximum advantage on his shots....but make no mistake about it, he is slow. But David isn't all the fast either so......
SLOlovkin is definitely gonna fall foul of a fighter with with good handspeed but Lemieux is not that guy
