After this mega win, Cotton has had promotional disputes with Top Rank and was unable to fight for a year. After that year lay off, he wanted a tune up before his megafight with Canelo, which has ALWAYS been in the horizon even before Cotton moved up to MW.

Just face the fact that GGG is waiting for handouts fighting bums because he wants to. GGG wants to eat out of other fighters plates instead of making a name for himself. LMFAO

 

Coto LOST to Mayweather, Pacquaio and Margarito. It is not an accomplishment to be proud of. He won against injured or semi retired fighters in Martinez, Mosley and Judah. So basically he is an overachiever.

Before getting beat by literal concrete, Cotto was on his way to greatness, already having a name in his resume in Mosley. The fact that he got beat up by bricks, then having enough guts to beat up, humiliate and knock out the MW champ of the world and a former unified MW champ 10 years later, well that's really something to behold.

We've seen what happened to other fighters who got cheated, yet Cotto's success after getting the prime beating out of him is amazing. You must respect the man for having GUTS. Something GGG doesn't have.

The fact that people want to see this fight at this stage of Cotton's career is simply amazing. Everyone knows what GGG is. A fighter who loves fighting bums, hence his nickname Bumluvkin.

A shot former 140 pound champion is a threat to Bummy's career simply because he doesn't want to man up and move North.
