    "Mayweather Sweepstakes"?

    Ok, so he's been mentioned by fans as a possible opponent, but how come he's never been mentioned by Floyd, his team or anyone else of that ilk?

    I honestly think he'd give Floyd hell due to his style and aggression.

    it took 280million for mayweather to accept dealing with arum he would never do it for a small fight with bradley

    Hes always been with TR, and its not like the Pac situation where Floyd can make bundles of money by "crossing the line" and getting the whole HBO/SHO thing sorted.

    It's not worth the pain of dealing with Arum. And there really is no more money in that than there is for someone like Berto. And perhaps a Berto fight brings a lot more, since Top Rank and Bradley would want a larger cut.

    Good question.

    Arum stated he was willing to make the fight. I honestly taught Mayweather was going to be pick Bradley as his next opponent. I even made a thread about it! I'd like to hear Mayweather's explanation as to why he never considered fighting Bradley.

    You do realize that Bradley and Khan fight completely different from each other and that there are other fighters who fight in the same style that they do?

    business perspective. bradley is not saleable on the latino holiday. floyd is taking advantage of the schedule and bradley just did not reach the fan base. bradley tried to build up with the provodnikov and pac fights but he fell short. he just doesn't have power to totally dominate and was not marketed properly.

    Exactly. Negotiating a fight with another Haymon fighter is straight forward. The Haymon - Arum situation just makes it unrealistic, but it would be a good fight.
