Amnat Ruenroeng is an unlikely champion too.

He made his debut at 32, and won a world title in his second year as a pro outpointing Rocky Fuentes.

He started fighting for money in backstreet fights in Muay Thai I believe. He also a previous drug addict and had 3 spells in a Thai prison.

Not to mention he's successfully defended his title 4 times, against Japan wonderkid Ioka (in Japan), against talented Arroyo, Gold medalist Zou Shiming (in Shiming's back garden) and former Jr Flyweight champ Casimero, so is on about as good a 5 fight run as anybody
