    This always happens

90% of the people who claim that they'll go to sleep and not watch the fight I see in the RBR thread the night of having ordered the fight and waiting anxiously. :D

    You'll be no different. :rofl

Except you won't have to pay PPV cuz people in UK don't have to from what I know. :deal

And if the Berto fight was made immediately following the the Maidana fight how do you suppose it would have done on PPV?

But the central point is that the build up for the Pac fight was unlike anything that has ever happened before. It was 5-6 years in the making and crossed into the global mainstream lexicon. After the fight, the world collectively lamented with a case of buyers remorse. The sport as a whole was commercially criticized. As we speak, first take is flashing text about the fight as the fraud of the century.

I've always been quite the boring person, not sure what has changed. :think

Just a little burned out nowadays, working 12 hour shifts is stressful.

This is hilarious, First Take, right now, is talking about the public lawsuit against the Pac-Floyd fight and how people want their PPV money back. :rofl

Yeah, I'm sure those people will be buying the Berto fight. lol

I highly doubt that. This fight will bomb despite having a great undercard. It will be lucky to do 400K in buys and should have been on CBS.

I still think it will do well actually. People will either buy it cos they think it's his last fight or in the hope that Berto catches him and knocks him out.

Not even close to a million, unfortunately. Floyd failed miserably to perform against Pac.....winning was just not enough given the magnitude and scale that fight was on. Floyd played it safe against a guy who claims he was injured.

Which may or may not be true. The point is Floyd didn't go out and take risks against Manny....he went out to play it safe and out point PAC to give himself the best chance at winning at the expense of entertaining the world. The numbers for Berto will be at best around 500K. No one takes this fight seriously and it's painful to hear those attempting to give Andre a chance.....you can tell they don't really believe it.

The funny thing is....Floyd will put on a show against the likes of someone on Berto's level. He will take risks because there's little threat. He won't be holding and pot shotting for 12 rounds from the outside. He will fight in the pocket and walk Berto down because he's not on his level and that allows Floyd to showcase what we know he has, ability wise but only flashes when the opponent isn't a real or perceived threat.

This should be on BET with Ward rematching Tucker Pudwill as the co-main!
