Under amateur rules, Stevenson by easy unanimous decision. In a pro fight, Maricano by KO in the middle to later rounds.
stevenson would not need 15 rounds, he destroys marciano inside 4 rounds... when foreman saw the right hand of stevenson told him " my friend my friend my friend" and said tthat he could have been champion of the world at pro. stevenson would have kicked the ass of holmes after he trained as a profesional. he had all you did need you beat holmes
in a 4 rounder stevenson makes rocky look idiot and weak and would give him a complete beating with his long powerful shots.
I find myself wondering if there is any large heavyweight with professional credentials so weak, that people will not pick him over Marciano! The lunatics have well and truly taken over the mad house, on the Marciano vs. big heavyweights issue!
I think they must be imagining Stevenson having made the typical transition from amateur to pro? He certainly had the power, talent and potential to be a force in the pros. It would be interesting to see Marciano against a tall, rangy puncher with one shot power, would it not?
