In a H2H, in their respective weight classes (well, when it comes to Jones, the ones he competed in), who is more of a "terror", more of a "he's a bad match-up for ANYONE" out of the two?
Are we supposed to compare Jones in all the weight clases he competed in vs prime Tyson or can I take Jones from a division of my choice. If we go by the later: I would say Jones at 168. I have a very hard time seeing anybody beating him at that weight regardless who we put in a time machine. As for Tyson from the around the Holmes & Spinks fights i don't see the same picture.
I don't really understand the question but if it's pure head to head prime v prime well Roy is off to hospital for a few weeks, if it is about who had the better talent or record the Roy is a long way ahead.
No. Out of the two, in the divisions they competed in, who was the most feared/the terror/the worst stylistic match-up for their opponent. See what I mean now?
Jones showed pretty dominant performances against James Toney, Bernard Hopkins and Virgil, all three of whom are either in the Hall of fame or destined to go there. So I have to side with him. Tyson looked pretty menacing though.
