    The Good:
Going to the body, reminds me of Miguel Cotto.
    Applying constant pressure.
    Keeping your hands up.

    The Bad:
I know you're the primary aggressor but you need to make him come to you. He seems to like laying on the ropes and doing a ropadope.

More head movement. You could really make him miss if you do more head movement.

Overall, you did alright. He took advantage of you when he was on the ropes but you did great when in the middle of the ring. Try to keep the fight there as much as possible.

I would suggest either doing these things above or finding a new sparring partner because that guy seems like he's just a lazy sack of **** who wants to lean on the ropes.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Seriously though, find someone better to spar.
Dude can't even keep his hands up for 50 seconds, you should be dropping him.

Thanks Dagowop for the feed back, I do see what you mean about the rope a dope, I need to be more strategic with my pressure.

The rest of you guys taking the **** out of my gym please remember that yes this is primarily a fitness gym, there are only 4 people who can spar here. I'll upload another video of me sparring other guys soon, my other sparring partner is too good for me and I don't learn much that's why I haven't put it up

You reach with the left uppercut
Turn your shoulders, move your feet and don't throw the punch from so far away.

you walk in looking for power shots, learn to set stuff up with a jab, not every shot has to be a home run

I really like the way you move. I remember when I started sparring, my legs were stiff, but you move like a total pro!

Now, I think you are doing pretty well as the aggressor, and you look to be on your way to improving, I'm just gonna give you some about about what you should try next time you spar.

First, the jab. I know in that specific sparring session it wasn't as necessary, but always throw it anyway, because you might get used to not throwing it, or throwing it sloppy, and that will be a problem against better boxers. Also, sometimes you throw a little wide in your long combinations, try to mix it up with straight punches.

On the defense, it seems you know how to move, but you are a little too focused on attacking, and not watching you opponents actions as much, so you are not reacting to everything. Next time you spar, try to focus more on the defense. Throw your combinations, but focus more on watching what your opponent is doing, how is he reacting to what you do? and react to what he does as well, try the basic counters, cross or overhand over the jab, hook when he throws a cross, like that hook to the body and then head your were throwing, which you do great btw.

Basically, next session, throw the jab a lot, and try to observe you opponent more, and react to him. This is just advice that I think will help you improve, but you are seriously doing great, it seems in that video like it comes very naturally to you, and your punches are sharp, specially that left hook, keep it up!

You may not feel like your learning much but you really are.
You need to fight people better than you, that's why I spar professional fighters at amateur level. Cause then when you step in the ring for Amateur, everything goes so slow that it's a joke.

Work more with the second sparring partner you posted.
