Please stop. This is delusional. Steroids are expensive, illegal, and dangerous. Figthers use them becuse they are a substiture for talent.

Jones was an incredible natural athlete, who was also enhanced by steroids.

RJJ from a purely athleticism stand point was the most gifted fighter I've seen or at the least up there with the best.

There have been plenty of fast fighters but they usually didn't have the power Jones Jr had. Malinga went the distance with Benn and Eubank but RJJ KO'ed him. Roy was more than just a speedster he was a power puncher as well.

Also RJJ's reflexes were immense, did crazy things in the ring yet got away with them. Often didn't need a jab, could be totally out of position yet still unhittable, reminds me of Whitaker in that regard and when he put his hands behind his back against Kelly, that was unique, never seen another fighter do that.

    What?

You've implied that Roy was taking PEDS all of his career, and if he hadn't have done, we don't know if he'd have been a good fighter or not.

That's an absolutely ridiculous statement to make.

Yes, of course PEDS can give advantages both physically and psychologically. But they aren't magic. They can't give you the attributes that a guy like Roy possessed.

Pacquiao is not even as athletic as Mayweather ( May 2, 2015 showed it) so how could he be more athletic than Jones?

Phenomenal athlete. His blend of size, speed and power was very unique for the MW division. As some have stated, he was never a classical boxer and relied heavily on his athleticism and speed.

He's a tough out for anyone prime for prime, especially at MW.

Look dude. They were both well into their 30's. I was talking about mid 20's Pacquiao. Back when he was fighting the Mexicans his first time.

And boxing is more than just athleticism. More skilled fighters beat the more athletic man all the time.

Look Dude, athletic wise Pac is not on Jones level. I know Pac, I've been watching him for over ten years.

Pac looked super athletic fighting come forward flat footed Mexicans.

Jones was tagging elusive/skilled and equally athletic pugilist like Hopkins and Jones.

Prime Roy Jones was an absolute freak of nature. The things he was doing to "top contenders" was just remarkable. Think about it for a second, say what you will about his competition, but he was putting his hands behind his back and knocking guys down with counters! It's insane to think about.

I think in the Griffin rematch, he could've been the most formidable fighter to ever step in the ring on that night......

This argument is just as ignorant as the argument that steroids do absolutely nothing.
