This fight sucks so bad that people can't even be bothered to hate on it. No one's even talking about this fight. :rofl
Honestly haven't heard anything about it. Even the boxing media is just silent on it. I think it'll probably pick up though when we get to fight week.
The few yeah sure, especially on this board but overall, it's not even worth hating. Haven't bothered reading any news or watched any press conferences. Just don't care...
Ive seen more on those two fights recently then on the Floyd fight. Not surprising. Floyd blew his wad with the Manny fight. People bought the floyd ppv with the promise of a future fight vs Manny. Floyd doesnt have that selling point anymore.
Floyd made $200 million in his last fight, and will still make over $20 million in this one. I doubt he cares. He's taking an easy, stress-free fight and then will have a huge fight to close out his career at #50. I don't blame him. It's just going to be hilarious if Berto actually pulls the upset :rofl
It's like the 5 Stages of Grief Denial - Nobody believed it when Berto's and Mayfield's names were being thrown around. Anger - Everyone was mad about the cherry pick. Bargaining - Might be ok is there's a great undercard and Mayweather fights in a straightjacket. Depression - I heard Amir Khan tried to kill himself he was so distraught. Acceptance - This thread.
He's promoting it the most actually [emoji38] he probably has more info on it than the the fans do. I haven't seen or seeked info on this fight...
Everybody knows it's his worst opponent since Sharmba Mitchell. This is how you know this is Floyds' first undeserving opponent since Mitchell. Because every other time he fights, all everyone talks about is the match up. Nobody is talking about this match up. They are still sore about or joyous about May 2nd.
