The Ring doesn't mean diddly squat today. When Oscar took it over & fired all the good writers & staff it lost all its credibility
I'll bet poor old Nat Fleicher rolled over in his grace seeing how they decimated his Bible of Boxing!!:patsch

There was a ring cover as well when he was 28 asking if we had seen his best

This proves you know nothing about boxing ROFL

Ali has 3 fantastic close fights with Joe Frazier. Foreman has Joe bouncing on & off the canvas like a rubber ball. Then Ali Ko's Foreman. Styles make fighta All 3 of these ATG's were FIGHTERS!!! Floyd couldn't FIGHT! his way out of a wet paper sack:patsch

Margarito was railroaded by Nazin Richardsons blatant PLASTER BLOCKS lies. The CSAC jumped the gun & suspended Margarito without getting proof. When the wraps were declared HARMLESS by an independent lab, the CSAC were left with egg on their faces. Hence no charges brought They were the ones that screwed up Margarito's career on the lies of a worthless POS

    I explained The Ring

May2 .. Mayweathers performance was laughable. His opponent was injured & in pain after being sabotaged yet all Mayweather did was run & hold. Even his own father called him a coward on camera :patsch yet clowns like you claim Mayweather schooled Pacquaio ROFLMAO He BARELY beat him. Once again Vegas officials showed they weren't going to let Mayweather lose
    hence the ludicrous 118-110 card

Give up watching boxing you do not understand it obviously

It means more than some old hating bitter **** on a boxing forum the panel who voted was composed of boxing historians and writers not all of which were affiliated with the Ring troll so there goes that argument. Here they are some of writers some of which are notorious PBF haters.:hi: But let me guess they have no credibility.:rofl:lol:

Authors and historians surveyed were: Ron Borges (Ring), Bernard Fernandez (Ring), Doug Fischer (Ring), Norm Frauenhiem (Ring), Lee Groves (Tales from the Vault), Craig Hamilton (Historian), Thomas Hauser (Author), Kevin Iole (Yahoo Sport), Matt McGrain (Historian), Clay Moyle (Author), Martin Mulcahey (Historian), Patrick Myler Author), Jack Obermayer (Writer), Adam Pollack (Author), Cliff Rold (Historian), Michael Rosenthal (Ring), Mike Silver (Author), Tim Smith (Ring), Springs Toledo (Author), Anson Wainwright (Writer).

Again talking about Floyd like he started in WW boxing his opponents, at 130 he was a K.O artist. whats sad is you seem to know your stuff but then you get all emotional about Floydie and distort reality.

And Floyd has fought when he has needed to at WW, again you'll use 1-2 of his boxing performances and say that's all he does.

    come on man.

Yet when push came to shove they still didn't rank him greater. This was before PBF-#48 fight to I might add.:hi:

Alot of Prime HOF avoided Floyd like the plague when he was a young up and coming fighter. DLH, Casamayor and Shane Toothache Mosley didn't want it

His resume is more about consistency than stand out wins to be honest, like Pacquiao's wins outside the mexicans.
Bradley is Pacquiao's greatest win x 2 (turned his ankles, let's be fair if we say Manny's shoulder was a factor) outside Barrera 1+2, Ledwaba, Morales 2 (Morales was ****ed by 3) and Marquez 1+2. Margarito was fought at a ''cherry pick'' time. As were Mosley, Oscar and Cotto was 'drained' if Canelo was, Hatton had a terrible camp and was ruined by Floyd. Mayweather's standouts are Cotto (wear and tear from Marg and Manny, plus points for weight), Corrales (underdog and everybody considered Corrales a monster - he massacred him), Canelo (drained but no effect on how it'd play out tbh), De La Hoya (fought at a new weight against every disadvantage and clearly beat a DLH who still had it) and Pacquiao - utterly nullified him, he had brittle hands and Manny had a shoulder problem, it just wasn't severe and didn't affect the fight at all as seen by anyone with eyes, it was due to him being bamboozled by the speed and distance control. Both have very good resumes I hold about equal pegging.
