    Ban this jobber.

Mugabi wasn't called The Beast for nothing.

Mugabi had a better set of whiskers than Jackson but The Hawk had such thudding power, P4P the greatest KO artist in the game. That being said I lean towards The Hawk in a barnburner.

That you haven't seen Mugabi fight is plain for all to see. I just wonder why you chose to make it so obvious?

    John Mugabi winging wildly. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

The thing about Mugabi that drove Mickey Duff insane was John fought with that " lazy African style " ( to quote Duff ) knowing that he could switch people off at any time, rather than work to create openings.

Winging wildly and John Mugabi simply don't belong in the same book.

Umm, no simp. I've seen plenty of prime Mugabi.

I wasn't trying to imply that was a sloppy winger like Ricardo Mayorga, but he often left openings when he himself opened up, and was very easy to tag.

Jackson himself wasn't a defensive genius, but Julian did a better job of keep his hands up and picking off some shots with his gloves.

He would counter in between Mugabi and put him to sleep.

I thought Aaron Pryor was The Hawk.

Pryor was the ORIGINAL Hawk, but Jackson's nickname was also The Hawk.

Incidentally, Jackson and Pryor are both among my top 5 all time favorite fighters.

On their respective ways up, Mugabi probably fought the better competition and was tested more, but there's precious little that one can do to prepare for the kind of lights-out power and quickness Jackson brought to the fold. McCallum faced it and wobbled, but survived because he was a great fighter with lots of tools and resolve and chin and other intangibles at his disposal. Mugabi didn't have these things on that level. Ergo, he tastes Jackson's power and goes down for keeps early. Not because He's a terrible fighter or anything, it's just that if Jackson got you, he got you early.

Jackson didn't have the greatest set of whiskers himself.

People are sleeping on John, IMO. That man could hit.
