    That served its purpose when he did it against Forrest. Vernon was timid to tee off, and it seemed to me that he was psychologically beaten down at that point.

    When he tried the same trick against Tito, however, it appeared ill-advised, as (if memory serves) Trinidad did tee off, with a series of crisp left hooks.

    Tito wasn't psyched out the same way Vernon was, and then Trinidad started finding the sweet spot on Mayorga's mid section.
