What round did you pick Lacy in?

That's even worse than using the Leonard fight against Hagler.

I'll be honest, I had Lacy in 5.
    But Lacy is no Hagler.

Marvin in his prime was unbeatable.
a Southpaw who can switch at will with awesome boxing ability & Knockout punching power. (His punching was very underated)
something that just don't exist anymore.

hard for me to pick anyone Vs. Marvin.
**** I'll still get into a fist fight over that SRL decision...lol

Did you think a 43 year old Hopkins would drop Joe in round 1?
Now imagine what a Prime Hagler would have done with That..

I'd pick SRL to "Lalonde" Calzage as well.
    dude is just not impressive.

I take Calzaghe-maybe because Hagler left a bad impression on me with the Leonard fight..or Antuofermo I in which Vito wasn't supposed to be any competition...or the Duran fight in which he was supposed to kayo Duran. He did put my main man from Motown down-but all Hearns really had to do was stay out of the way for a short time-and Hagler woulda been stopped on cuts.He was so-so against blown up 154 lb. John Mugabe. And unlike say..Hopkins-who moved up in old age,Hagler wasn't a seriously risk taking fighter.

Conveniently, you missed out all Hagler's great performances.

Should we even consider this? I mean Calzaghe's best win was against Hopkins. Which would be fine except he didn't look that great. Hopkins is no Haggler he says it himself. Haggler is a living legend!!! Calzaghe is very good but lets not get ahead of ourselves.

Stick to the Lounge Jazzo, you're becoming like China_Hand_Joe on here. Your boxing knowledge is quite limited.

Hopkins even at 43 made the fight quite competitive (not to mention knocking Joe down). So I can't understand those chosing Calzaghe by comfortable UD.

As mentioned, even Leonard UD over past prime Hagler was far from being comfortable.

I can't buy arguments like "he didn't look very dominant against Duran, who wasn't that great at middle" either. Especially when the best win of Calzaghe has to be the one over Hopkins... and Joe himself did not look that dominant against old man who basically spent his whole life at MW.

Hagler stops him eventually. Joe has good chin, but not great, and he doesn't have the defence and footwork to survive 15 rounds like Leonard. (and, BTW, I don't think Hagler would be as cautious as he was against Duran).

Senya 13's an idiot, he think's Hagler only had average speed and reflexes, throughout his career. Look at the Minter fight and check the "average speed and reflexes" he had there. Hagler had good hand speed and reflexes, just because he didn't slap his punches like Calfaghe, you say he had average speed? Your a ****ing idiot.

Hagler was a brawler, He would of pressured Calzaghe and KO him in late rounds. Hopkins isn't exactly a knockout artist and he had Calzaghe hurt a couple of times, those shots were right down the middle too. Comparing Lacy to Hagler is laughable.
