I heard Selby's had trouble making weight at FW.

How do you think he'd do if he moved up to 130?

Heard a few people say how big he is and how they r shocked he makes feather. But from wat ive seen he never looks good on the scales but then fight day he always performs. Saw a Good documentary about him the other week bad boy of boxing worth a watch.

Its well known that he struggles at the weight and has done for some time. I think it was the brunker fight or maybe the fihht before he looked as though hed just come straight from auchwitz to the weigh in. Iv never seen any boxer looking that bad for a weigh but as maley says come fight night he looks filled out again. Iv no doubt hell keep killing himself to make weight until one night it just wont be there for him hell lose the belt and move up. Similar thing happened to his stablemate buckland when he fought ste smith u could tell he was drained you could visibly see him struggling to pull himself together his brain was struggling to fire then he walked onto the james toney special.
Selby is a good boxer with a good style and good skills but the weight is giving him an advantage until 1 day it will stop working for him then he moves up and hell be getting in the ring the same weight as he does at fw. Fw is where selbz will leave his legacy imo

He looked vile on the scales for his last fight and I honestly thought it was going to affect him badly facing a pressure fighter like gradovich but he gave the performance of his life.

I think he will be fine at super featherweight imo he is head and shoulders above Stephen Smith and he isnt doing too badly is he.

I would love to see Selby v Walsh at sfw

I think Selby is going to be devastatingly ko'd some day. He is wide open, very flawed boxer, and wont get away with it forever. As said the weight making will catch up with him too IMO.

Where people get this "Welsh Mayweather" tag from I don't know.

130 is a weak division. Besides, it be nice to see Loma box his head off.

Cant see him beating loma or even lsc who looked good last night and sfw isnt as strong so a move up may be better for him

I think he is an incredibly talented boxer, selby.

Not aware of the struggling to make weight issues but I do agree he has looked gaunt at weigh in's but surely thats not a surprise? Some boxers do it easy others don't, its that simple.

Think he is a tremendous boxer personally and will do damage at FW for a while longer, yet.

still don't know how he makes featherweight, he looks like a smackhead on the scales. His power will improve a fair bit with the move up in weight I recon. Very talented & get the impression theres alot more to come from him as well. Get the feeling he's still got a couple of gears he's not shown anyone yet.

I don't know how he manages to make FW either, always looks VERY gaunt on the scales.
