the khan knockdown was definitely a controversial incident. u could see khan look at his corner who must have been saying "take a knee", but the count was too far along for that. he was lucky on that one was amir. :yep
I tell you, that night was special. I was in the boozer, everyone except me is ignoring the boxing, then THAT happens, and all of a sudden everyone is screaming at the tv, the barman turns the jukebox OFF and the tv UP, and nobody is talking to anybody apart from Willie Limond. Haven't seen a reaction to boxing that intense since Benn-Eubank. It's funny. Willie is just an honest pro, and Khan is just a prospect, all be it a special one, but that is one of my favourite moments in boxing, ever. A bar full of Scots just as in to the fight as me.
