He did not say when he saw it and who showed it to him. Show me if he did! I think this is because he never saw it.
Klompton: This film was shot in the daytime, that fight took place at night, therefore it couldnt be a film of that fight. Mendoza: Maybe the rain clouds made the film look darker than it was. Klompton: atsch ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Klompton: How do explain Kurt getting caught trying to pull this con THREE other times... Mendoza: The last one was a clerical error. Klompton: What about the other two times. Mendoza: Oh look! A butterfly! *runs away to chase an imaginary insect*
BS!!! If you had it and its " junk " post it on you tube. Nobody showed you Kurt's film. If you really want to expose a fraud, here's your shot.
Kurt doesnt have a ****ing film! It isnt Kurts film! Kurt pulled a clip of training footage off an old VHS tape. If Kurt had a film he could put this all to bed instantly. Thats actually a good idea. I will see if I can find this film (I dont catalogue unidentified sparring sessions lol) if I can track this film down in my collection I will post it on youtube in its entirety and then people can judge for themselves and at the very least Kurt wont be able to charge people for something that clearly isnt Greb. You are just so sure of everything in your mind and yet you keep losing ground. Kurt has no film. The fight was at night. The footage was shot in the daytime. People you or Kurt say support his contention either dont or have no evidence other than a desperate wish for it to be true. Have your pal Kurt answer everything Ive posted before. Screenshot, picture of edge code, name of the FBI Forensic Specialist, names of people who positively identified it. Name of the person he purchased it from. Why exactly he ever thought this was Greb and Tate and then Greb and Gans. Why he constantly feels the need to pretend he has footage of Greb. How does he explain away his past history of doing this (which Ive proven using his own website). Etc etc. He cant. He wont. Because he has none of this. He took an unlabeled clip from a bunch of jumbled training footage and created a pathetically weak story around it. As soon as he got called out on it he changed his story and like a lot of lies his lie snowballed. Now he either needs to admit he lied (or was mistaken lol) or continue on with his charade. Im sure hed love this to go away but as long as he pretends hes got this fake film Im going to be there calling him out on it. Its whats called peer review. Anytime you have someone in the antiquities market who pretends they have something monumental they get called out on it until they can either prove their case or be proven wrong. The people who refuse to put their work out there for peer review are rarely ever taken seriously. He wants to post this announcement on his web page he needs to back it up. This reminds me to a degree of the current controversy surrounding a lost gospel that was recently "discovered" saying that Jesus had a wife. It also begins with an unnamed collector purchasing it from the collection of a dead man. Lots of holes in the story and red flags sorrounding this gospel as a fake. The funny thing is that there is actually a LOT more evidence that this gospel is real than Kurt has that he has a film of Greb and experts are still waiting for more answers before they declare a major discovery. I wouldnt expect the same level of responsibility from Kurt because, again, hes a con man whose attempted to pull this off before. He doesnt want anyone who actually knows what they are talking about to look at this thing. I'll call Mitch tonight after he gets off work and see what he actually has to say about this.
Notice he keeps saying he doesnt believe Ive seen it but wont say that anything Ive described from that film is untrue. Lets pretend I havent seen it. What difference would that make? Forgetting everything else. Forgetting that Kurt has lied like this before numerous times. Forgetting there is absolutely no evidence this is Greb other than what people WANT TO IMAGINE. This is a film CLEARLY shot in the daytime. That fight was fought at night. End of story. Period. Doza can imagine that somehow Baron's ballpark in Wilkes-Barre somehow had more powerful lights than say the lights for Dempsey-Tunney 2 which could be seen from about 5 miles away and just happened to illuminate the fighters from only one source which also happened to cast long shadows just like the sun would coming in from an angle but I challenge anyone to find me a photo or film from 1926 or before of a fight that was held at night that looked like that. You wont. Doza will just ignore that fact because hes got himself behind a losing argument like he always does and refusea to admit he was wrong.
No my memory is fine I remember every assertion you have made , and that when asked for proof you totally ignore the requests. Kevin Smith came on here and publicly castigated you for attributing things to him he hadn't said. You 've been more circumspect about using his name since. You never provide proof of your statements its a rigid pattern. The latest being "Jeffries koing Ed Dunkhorst as you claimed ,"and when I asked you for some dates, one you provided was Jack Jeffries sparring with his brother in the UK.atsch I'm not asking Klompton any questions, he knows what questions to put to anyone to ascertain the provenance of films I don't. So far there has been a deafening silence from your camp. You being the Remora fish swimming in the others wake , feeding off their leftovers and trying to gain some credibility for yourself,[good luck with that!]. He says he has seen the footage that Kurt has and I believe him Klompton and I aren't buddies, but unlike yourself he does not tell lies . He needs no help from anyone in exposing bullsh*t, and its sh*t or get off the pot time for your side.
Mendoza, While you and Kurt are getting so chummy you should ask him to show you his copy of Tommy Ryan vs Hugo Kelly, then compare it to Klaus vs Carpentier and tell me just how sharp an eye Kurt has lol.
I tend not to get into heated arguments online but if I do I atleast read the posts to prevent me sounding like an idiot. I'm not defending Klompton, sometimes his tone is, shall we say, harsh when he is disagreeing a certain thing (Jones, Darcy, McGovern etc). But he tends to only on comment on that which he's researched a lot more than most others. Doesn't make his opinion more correct necessarily, but sometimes more informed. The two recent heated discussions involving Greb and Darcy have made for good reading.
No, I don't recall ever seeing it. Just stills. But I was inquiring about it to several people earlier this year.
Thanks Suze. If you get a chance check out my Pittsburgh boxing history page on Facebook. You might like the recent posts re: your namesake on there :smoke
Nope sorry, Mendoza has names to prove you've seen it. You just most have forgot seeing the only remaining film of Greb fighting
