Ali is overrated in terms of ability no doubt. Not to discount the signfiicance of the Liston fight, but it was hardley an awe inspiring display of punching. Mostly running, occasionally punching until Sonny got discouraged. I've always thought Foreman would have won a rematch too.

    :rofl :rofl :rofl

Ali would've ahnilated the current crop of heavies. People read too much into size. Revisionist crap.

The Wepner fight was hardly vintage Ali.

:tong Uh...Glasschko got knocked out by fighters that nobody will remember in ten years time. A prime Foreman would beat every fighter that Dick Wad-imir lost to. Glasschko has never impressed me like Ali did v Frazier (even the first fight), Williams (Yes even that fight) or Foreman. Williams was shot, but wasn't a corpse. Ali showed an arsenal that night that i have never seen ***** Clit show, even if Williams was shot. Williams looked more impressive in his loss to Liston than Shitschko looked against Bob Hope Classic Sanders. Ali had SPEED, and enough power to shake Drago in the latter rounds. ROSS PURITY? Come on now, Ali ain't losing to that guy. :admin :rasta Ali was shot to pieces after 1975 so Mob or Knob should get his eyes fixed. How can he compare that Ali to the peak version? Glasschko got Ko'd by guys who ain't even in the Top 100 Heavyweights. Nobody Ko'd Ali PERIOD. Plus don't bring up that Holmes fight as an example of a KO when Clit was dropped and stopped and looked like a deer in the headlights. Samuel Peter, who can Punch...but is no Foreman, no Frazier, and is no Norton. Norton's losing performance v Holmes impressed me more than Clits win v Ibramov. Look at Glasschko in that fight (his so called prime) looked like a guy with a chin made from triffle. He barely threw a right and was pawing his jab against a guy NOBODY will remember in five to ten years time. Exciting stuff :yikes. Name me one fight of Chandellia Chinschko has had that was better than the FOTC or Norton II or Rumble or Manila or Shavers? Even a shot Ali's loss the Neon Leon had more excitement in Round 15 than i have seen in any Glass chinned Dick Wad bout. Who is out there for him to beat but a Crusierweight called Haye who has a worse chin than himself? There is not one guy in the Division that is a Superstar, nobody can name who the Heavyweight Champion is on the street unless you are a boxing fan, while everybody knew Ali was the man or Tyson was the man. If Mob or Knob wants to watch Ali V Wepner as a basis to say Ali was overrated (even though he won), i will use the basis or Glasschko losing to Purity or boring the planet to death v Ibramov on why you don't have a Pot to **** in or a window to throw it out.

What a no knowledge dunce you are.

Try comparing apples to apples instead of apples to tangerines.

IF Ali were coming up at the same time as Tyson, and the sorry Klitscho's, he would have had the same diet, training equipment, ect. as today's HWs.
This means Ali would probably have been better trained, bigger, and more skilled even then he was back in the day.

With his natural talents, coupled with the latest and greatest training aids available today, Ali would have walked thru all of today's HWs with ease. :yep

Even without these new aids, I'd give Ali 5:1 odds over defeating either of the Kilts, and 3:1 odds over defeating Tyson.

I seriously doubt that many of today's Heavies would even get past the old Foreman, Frazier, or even Liston to even get to fight Ali. :smoke

Put down the Meth pipe son. A mind is a terrible thing to waste, and yours seems devastated.

I have been a boxing fan for 40 years, and the older I get the better Ali looks. Especially considering no loads like Wlad. Get a grip Ali would kill anybody around today. Tyson would have been his only real threat since he retired, and that would only be to the 5th or 6th rd.
