Berto is more than capable of knocking Khan out. To act like that fight would be a forgone conclusion is ridiculous. I can easily envisage Khan dominating the first two rounds, getting caught and then stopped with a load of his idiot fanboys then falling over themselves to declare it a fluke, lucky punch etc.

This said I think choosing Berto for his final fight is absolutely indefensible.I just don't think Khan would have been much better. If Danny 'moron' Garcia can time you then I'm sure Mayweather can.

danny punched khan with his head facing the ground.. that had nothing to do with skill or timing. khan also has a better resume than berto. only idiots trying to justify floyd cherrypicking berto thinks berto and khan are equal.. they obviously are not. that wide punchers stance he has and that ****py defense. at least khan is elite

    Khan isn't elite.

Danny was looking or the left hook all night. The only one who couldn't see it was 'elite' Khan. Amir couldn't adapt and got repeatedly timed.

So to clarify, you think Khan would be nailed on to beat Berto?

Floyd Berto is garbage, I'm just amazed at how many people have bought Khan's BS. Again. Every few years the Khan hype train picks up plenty of momentum, jam packed with fanboys only to be derailed by a brutal KO.

then what makes a fighter elite? he beat maidana, algieri, and alexander, he also beat kotelnik, judah, malignaggi, dmitry salita etc.
algieri beat provodkinov. alexander beat witter, maidana, matthyse, corley, kotelnik. how exactly is khan not elite? is anyone favored over him @147 besides thurman and brook? answer that question objectively.

Is anyone favored over him? You mean besides Floyd and Manny?

Elite fighters don't struggle against Algieri and ancient Diaz.

Four fighters are definitely favoured over him. Then you have Bradley and JMM who many would pick over him. Garcia has now moved up and he'd have to be favoured to KO him again after their last fight. That's 7 fighters people wouldn't have any prob picking over Khan yet he's apparently an 'elite' fighter.

Why? Well because he says he is. That's evidently enough for some people.

i wouldn't favor pacquiao, jmm, or garcia vs this version of khan. he'd pick all of them apart, pac would probably win though. he had a bad night against algieri, just like floyd had a bad night against maidana. who khan handled easily.. so did alexander

That's exactly what I think it is and I don't see nothing wrong with it. Floyd don't have to prove nothing, He has already done it all on both sides of the ring. Floyd elevated boxing to a level it has never been before in terms of fighters getting paid for their services. He took the old stereotype of a fighter as a sportsman first and turned it into a business first. If it wasn't for him, GGG wouldn't be getting a PPV fight. He would still be approaching it as a sport only. Floyd showed all boxers that it's ok to get paid. He also reminds them that it's about hard work and dedication.

Cast your minds back everyone. Back to when Floyd first mentioned Berto as an opponent. Can you remember MVC posting that Floyd was " Just pulling your chains"?? " He's not serious Floyd will tell us who his real opponent will be Berto & Mayfield are just jokes"????????
Now MVC realizes Berto was Floyd's REAL choice he claims he's a legitimate opponent ROFLMAO. MVC ridicules Manny fir fighting Algeiri Bu applauds Tinkerbell for choosing Berto
Hey MVC how do you spell FARCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Berto has losses to Victor Ortiz, Robert Guerrero, and Jesus Soto Karass. Let that sink in....

he was getting boxed up by Joseito before the comeback KO....

this is quite possibly a worse ppv than mosley v mayorga and I'm not joking at all. At least that was gonna be entertainment and nobody running "for health"

    This fight is brutal.

Isn't this a perfect reason? Berto will make millions in a fight which afterwards he won't even have a mild swelling on his face.

    Are you kidding me Rumsfeld?

Khan's record is a lot better than Berto's record.
