Shouldn't he be stripped of his belts and his P4P status?

Hasn't the biggest star in boxing brought the sport into total disrepute?

Or isn't it that big a deal?

With all due respect, Rumsfeld, I always watch your videos and find them somewhat entertaining. But here you are nothing but biassed
    and ... delusional.

Here we have a statement from the highest anti-doping authority fully authorized to give explanations for this kind of controversial things. Link: http://www.usada.org/usada-statement-inaccurate-news-reports-pro-boxing/

Yet, you are desperately trying to deny the obvious and, as a proof to your point of view, bring nothing but metaphorical expressions and stylistic means. I give you props for that, but I would rather you stick to the facts.

This whole situation reminds me Klitschko-Pulev post-fight hysteria, though noone brought up this topic here since it occured in Russian segment, when their mass-media posted fake news regarding Wlad being tested positive after the fight. This news was based on third-party Bolgarian yellow press and, what is more, was incorrectly rendered from Bolgarian language. However, many Russian casual fans every since believe that Wlad was on PEDs and refuse to admit that this is just a low-grade fake.

Mayweather did take an IV infusion of saline and vitamins though. But if we look from a different prospetive, HOW COME that this should be enough to claim that a fight should be ruled a No Contest? This part is the most delusional. What always irritated me in boxing discourse, is how desperately some people try to hype this topic - like if a boxer is on PED, it rejects all his boxing skills and achievements at once. Still, Mayweather was NOT on PEDs, so how can you believe that this influenced the fight enough to bring up so much noise?

No personal disrespect, it's just that I hate seeing people be so much guided by rumours and misinterpretations. :verysad

Yes. Floyd who walks around at 150 lbs isn't a prime candidate for an emergency IV injection. The NSAC is on record stating they should have had final say in allowing Floyd to receive an exemption from USADA. The NSAC dictates what happens in their state, not USADA which is simply a third party agency. So if there was some type of agreement in place between both USADA and the NSAC in regards to transparency, then it looks like the agreement was broken when USADA didn't notify anyone else involved that Floyd was getting the Lance Armstrong special before fight night.

If you're caught on ped's, you break drug-testing protocol.

If you're caught using prohibited IV injections, you break drug-testing protocol.

Because Mayweather is still breaking drug-testing protocl is the reason it should be ruled NC. Not including how USADA was also not able to prove whether or not the substances in the bag were legal.

Wouldn't be the first time Floyd has done this. It clearly states on the WADA prohibited list that you are not supposed to reintroduce blood into the body from any source both in and out of competition - which is of course what Floyd did before the Canelo fight.

Floyd cheated... this is no question

Whether he used steroids or was masking something or not, we don't know, but we do know that he did things that were not allowed. It should be changed to NC.

Why it hasn't been changed to NC already and why is Mayweather still allowed to fight tomorrow after being busted violating the anti doping code without the shadow of a doubt - are the real questions. If NSAC cannot prevent a cheater to fight on Nevada soil, they should as well abolish themselves for their existence is pointless.

    WADA rules, not NSAC...

This is where the whole thing gets messy.

2 different rival testing orgs, each with one of the fighters in their pockets (or, they in the fighters' pockets, I should say), and one worthless commission also doing their testing and "working with" the 2 testing orgs. Awkwaaaaard.

Correct, however the fighter's were contracted under WADA rules too. If you look at their actual contract, it states multiple times that Mayweather and Pacquiao agree to adhere to WADA standards of BANNED methods and substances AS WELL AS TUE. :good
