Yeah I'm glad Floyd is retiring, it is boring to watch these days. No one tests Mayweather, I don't think anyone around that division is capable, Floyd knows it, hang em up, good way to go out.

    "no one tests mayweather"
Which was why he was able to throw those IV jabs in the pac fight.

His "retirement" is only a publicity stunt. Time 2 months and he'll be talking about "comeback"

I like seeing a great boxer box, and I'm not going to cheerlead for a sport without him just because he didn't challenge himself a bit more, and is an insecure spoiled brat outside the ring. But because he's fought basically everyone he could've fought and there's not really anyone who presents a serious threat to beat him out there outside of Golovkin, and because I'd like to see the other top welterweights fight each other instead of waiting to cash in on a Floyd fight, I'm happy he's leaving.

I really don't care. Didn't even watch the fight, weigh in etc. Not intrested in him. He's boring. I would only watch a fight against GGG but this will never happen.

Yeah... because fights don't start at 4am no more like the good old days.

I've followed Floyd for a long time, was always a fan and would always tune in, he's done everything, maybe 1 more fight at the new arena in Vegas next year but I'm happy to see him go now.

He will make it so people will "want him" to come back. Que in the IV PED publicity stunt -- you see people are already DEMANDING a rematch.

In 6-8 weeks Ellerbe will tell us Floyd is bowing to public demands and will start negotiating with Pac :rofl:rofl:rofl

This is public opinion manipulation 101 and most people don't even see it. Its genius really.

This "retirement" is about as real as the one in the late 2000s. He'll be back for his 50th fight, and probably beyond.

Floyd ruined boxing never fought mandatories. Hopefully fighters will now start fighting mandatories and defending titles. Please let that sh.it stain retire for good.

I would be fine with his cheating if he didn't spend last few years accusing others of doing so, and pretending to try to clean up the sport.
