is one of the best fighters who ever lived. Forget the marketing of "Money May", forget all of the bad press that he receives outside of the ring, and put aside your personal dislike for him because he beat your favorite fighter.

Technically he has it all. Defense, offense, boxing IQ, movement, confidence, will to win, can fight inside or out, conditioning, and most of all the refusal to lose at any cost.

No he is not TBE in MY book, but this is a guy who I didn't like until he kept on winning and winning and winning. And he is doing it in style. The ability to change styles and figure you out is why he ranks imo as one of the best who ever lived.

Agreed he is definitely one of the best to ever boxed he is top 30/40 for me in the ATG ranks.

One thing i would say about him is his offense is not the greatest most of the great fighters in the past took risk this is where floyd comes up short among other things.

One of the best defensive fighters ever though

If he was quiet and polite more people would have the view that's he's top 5 or 10 or even TBE, but he would never have made the same money or been able to have the big fights he's had. It's all the talk that people don't like and it causes a negative response.

    No doubt he's an ATG.

He's one of the best from a skills and athletic ability perspective. No doubt. His style and lack of taking risks as all the other greats did is where Floyd loses ground with regards to his legacy. Being undefeated to Floyd meant a lot to him and less to the world wanting to witness true greatness which Floyd showed in flashes, but never when it really impacted the sport or his legacy the most.

Wrong if he was quite and polite that would not make a difference at all people would just not hate on him as much

Are you for real top 5-10 atg or even tbe LOL?

Floyd has not fought the necessary fights and the fighters at the right time to even break into top 15 let alone 10

Floyd own father doesn't believe his son when he spews that rubbish

Let me guess.. Margarito.. Paul Williams would put him in the top 10 or 15 LOL. He literally fought everyone in his era. He's 20-25 ATG for me.

it would of helped him fighting Pac in 2009(While Pac was rated p4p king)and at his best would of also helped

Him also fighting sergio martinez when he called him out would of helped

Him fighting golovkin would of did extremely great things for his legacy

He could of also fought hopkins who said he would of gone down to 160 ofcourse no one is saying he should fight these fights but the greats in the pasts have done this

How do you fight an ATG in their prime, don't they have to have an accomplished career first before they are considered an ATG? And if they are considered an ATG don't they then get called past prime when they lose to Floyd? Let me show you how it go, if Floyd gets them earlier you call them green, if he gets them after they have accomplished something you call them past it. He can't win when haters control the scale!

Floyd could of fought a prime ATG in fact not only was that fighter a ATG he was the p4p king at that time.
