Against Berto of all people Soto Karass wasn't impressed

 

Studies shows his fights can cure patients with acute insomia.

 

He thought he was Dorothy from Wizard of Oz with all that skipping around. And then Berto thought he was the scarecrow "If I only had a brain." He rarely went after Floyd's body and was headhunting most of the time. Thank God for Salido-Martinez 2.

 

I missed the fight because it was already late and didn't expect much from it anyway, but was it really that bad?

 

I downloaded it and watched it the following morning, usually I'll stay up for Floyd fights, but this had mismatch written all over it from the get go. Fight itself wasn't particularly entertaining, was more of a glorified sparring session.

There were a few moments where Floyd teased us with some 3-4 punch combinations and looked like he might put it on Berto, but they never lasted and were fleeting. I can see why he fought the way he did though, had he done what he was capable of and stepped on the gas he could have had Berto out of there, but then people would just call it as an even worse cherry pick than before the fight. He really was in a lose/lose situation no matter what he did... then again, that was his own fault.

We'll see him come back in a couple of years perhaps and challenge whoever is middle weight king, that's my hope anyway. That the only thing for me that separates him from the Sugar Ray Leonards of this world, those guys would go up to weight classes they had no business in. I know the die hard sycophants will say he's a light weight and walks around at 150, but I dont buy that, he never releases his fight night weight and has the arm, shoulder and chest size of a middleweight. He's got to be weighing in around 160.

Its hilarious how little respect fans have for this fraud. he's such an embarrassment to boxing. I mean for goodness sakes, when you have Dana White going around saying his bantam weight womens champ Rhonda would beat up the #1p4p boxer in the world, i don't think it could get much worse than that.

Lol can't believe the comments on here. You guys make it seem like floyd is the only face of boxing. I don't understand the passion in some of the comments in here. Floyd has boxed the same style for a long time.

Floyd did what was expected of him, through a few combinations and exchanged a little. Outboxed berto easy.

 

Thats actually pathetic on the part of the UFC, desperately trying to get more recognition by hanging on to Floyd's coat tails

 

Why? it was a wonderful fightnight. I enjoyed every event in the card. Maybe floyd's was the less entertaining if you dont enjoy floyd's style, but the whole card was amazing. Very good fights.
