Would you still like to see a rematch between DeGale and Groves?

I'd still be up for it. I can imagine DeGale, now he's with Haymon getting fed some nothing fighters (Santa Cruz style) so this is a more significant fight.

Why would anyone not want to to see the fight? Do I think it's far less likely to happen now? Yup.

    Yes & No.

Groves really needs to re-build, if he can do that and earn his shot then why not....but until then I have no real interest.

Not for me if Groves would have won Saturday it would be champion vs champions add the history the build up would be huge. It would be a cert for Wembley stadium. Now he has lost it would be a voluntary at the O2. Going from Groves comments I think he will retire

I came very close to achieving a lifelong goal but it wasn't to be. I'm now going to spend some time with my family and decide upon my future

It must be tough, mentally and physically, putting yourself through three hard intense training camps to come up short when it's all said and done.

    - 1st time around he gives a proven top class SMW hell and was then on the rough end of a contentious decision.
    - 2nd time around, it was a HUGE fight that came with a lot of baggage. He was once again doing well in the fight but got caught with an absolute rocket of a right hand after making a silly mistake.
    - 3rd time around, he takes himself out to Big Bear for his full camp and loses a close fight on American soil.

He does needs to reflect and get his head together, but no way should he retire. As Billy says, he has way to much to offer - he's a good fighter.

it won't be as big as before, but SMW isn't a particularly deep division so there's not too many better fights for degale.

He needs to reunite with Booth.
Both his timing and his self belief aren't like they were.

Not right now, I think DeGale gives Groves a serious beating at this moment in time.

Something is not right with Groves, I'm not sure if it's mentally or it's a training issue, maybe it's just confidence but until Groves starts looking like the fighter we saw in the first Froch fight then I think it's pointless.

I feel for DeGale because he wants revenge and would be paid very well for it.

I think if it doesn't happen now it could end up being about as marketable as Fury v Price is now.

No, Groves doesn't deserve it, he's failed at 3 world title challenges, there are other guys ahead of him in the queue.

Groves needs a few decent wins before he gets another shot.

What if he's no longer capable of getting those wins?

DeGale is fighting Bute next. Is he any more deserving than Groves? :think
