Andre Ward is very deserving of #2, I've stated this for a while now.

I think he's very intelligent, has got good speed (not blinding or anything like that) and is pretty strong.

Those are his main attributes, but there are some frailties as well, for one his power is average at best and he seems to have chin problems, he's one of those guys I would not be at all surprised to see knocked out.

Guys like Rigondeaux, Lomachenko and Gonzales IMO are all more talented.

Where is Jones Jr or Lennox Lewis? They should be on top 3.

Wards pretty talented when it comes to not fighting, and taking meaningless fights when he does. That's for sure.

Ward used his feet a lot more early in his career. For example against Darnell Boone he was jumping around like some Roy Jones Jr. clone. Then he gets caught with an unexpected uppercut and goes down pretty hard. Lucky for him the round was over. After that he didn't jump around as much. And yes I see the talent in guys like Rigo and Loma.

No, Paul Smith's sh*t. Always has been, always will be. Even his resume at domestic level if absolutely abysmal.

Well he can draw with AA, something Stieglitz wasn't able to do. Paul's a good level operator.

He didn't draw with him, he lost. The first fight was a close fight & then he got dominated the second time around. Being involved in a close fight nowadays with Abraham is nothing to brag about.

Woops, sorry got my guys mixed up. The 1st fight was really close, and fighting AA to a close decision fight IS something to be proud of. If you're that much of a **** fighter, you would have been knocked out cold by AA.

To be honest, it shows more the level Abraham is at at the moment then what is Smith's level (because he is domestic level, that much is clear), Abraham is probably the weakest champion in boxing, his belt is there for the taking for anyone decent at SMW.

Abraham is NOT the weakest champion in boxing, that is absurd. Linares, Martinez are clearly lower level.

Oh add in Taguchi/Kono too, never really liked him nor thought he was all that good.

    He's a 32yr old undercard fighter....
    occasional headline on BET.

He's not in the debate right now. when he earns a shot at kovalev he could get a payday.
