You won't see me ejaculating over a 34 year old boxer with the disgraceful resume that of Golovkin.

The difference between Floyd fans and Golovkin fans is that with Floyd the fanboysm is done with prof of actual accomplishment.

What's your obsession over a guy who's biggest accomplishment is a left over of worn out Sergio Martinez.

There is no good reason to hate Bumlovkin. He makes for a good aesthetic in the sport of boxing and he attracts the casuals. However, the fact remains, he's done nothing in his career other than knock over TOMATO CAN after TOMATO CAN. Despite this FACT, the Bumlovkin nut gulpers swear he's the best thing since sliced bread. The amount of hype Bumlovkin gets around here goes WAY over the top and well beyond what he's been able to demonstrate in the ring up to this point in his career.

I think the criticism levied against the Triple Duck can't be considered hate if it's warranted. That's the part you GolovIdiots need to wrap your warped brains around.

    Legitimate criticism isn't hate.

Liked many answers here, and have to agree GGG is not hated at all.almost everybody enjoys his style.

But thr problem is,like many posters pointed out,GGG fights against mediocre competition.

Mostly people "hate" only GGG nutthuggers, who compare GGG already to past great MW's and then making mockery out of Monson,Hagler,Robinson etc...

GGG is probably One of the greatest boxers currently, but sadly we don't know for sure.because he is fighting these no hopers.

And also they build this Mario Lemieux guy like second coming of Jesus.reality is Lemieux is good, but not anywhere close top 1000 all time MW.

It's a missmatch,i expect GGG to Ko Lemieux before 7th round

And only want to see GGG against Ward because after that i would know if GGG is for real or not.i don't want to see him lose.i only want to see great fighters fighting against each others

And don't understand why these GGG fanboys don't accept that?

And also GGG fanboys are usually Floyd haters, and manytimes they are so double standards, that you don't know laugh or cry.

So basically maybe i want to see GGG lose, but just so that these fanboys would STFU about GGG.

Nothing against GGG,only the re****ed fanbase..

You can call GGG ATG no problems when he actually starts beating legit competition.before that nutthuggers stay silent.

What does the Lower Case G have that Mayweather would want? Bumlovkin isn't even the man in his own division...

I hate mayweather and I don't know how anyone can say GGG is the most hated here. He is the most loved! He has the worst resume of anyone in any top 10 p4p lists. That should tell you all you need to know!

Once again, the Bumlovkin nut guzzlers play the "race" card. Very tired and weak.

There are a lot of generalizations going on in here. I'm a huge Floyd fan AND a huge GGG fan. Wasn't ever much of a Pac fan though, point being things aren't as black and white as a lot of you would prefer.

Anyway, to everyone hating on GGG on account of his level of opposition -- I want you to look at his resume, at least since coming to America, and tell me who he should have fought (and when) to receive credit from you.

Keep a few things in mind:

    1. Proksa, Maklin, Stevens, Geale, Rubio, and Murray were all Top 10 ranked opponents at the time he fought them.
    2. Quillin as well as Martinez and/or their team openly stated they were not looking to face GGG.
    3. JCC Jr. expressed interest, only to back down when an offer was made.
    4. Froch expressed interest, only to back down and retire when GGG called his bluff.
    5. Had a deal in place to face Lee before his father passed away. Clearly not afraid of him.

For the sake of argument, let’s exclude Ward from the discussion. If that is truly the only opponent you would give GGG credit for facing, then it’s clear you are a secret GGG fanboy, as that is a huge compliment.

I'm certainly not some casual fan and I have asked myself this question and really can't see who else he could have fought on each occasion that would have been considered a better fight and who was available/willing to fight Golovkin.

Okay, let’s hear the names and when he should have fought them, go!

Mayweather has moved up in weight 4 times in his career. Exactly HOW many times has the Lower Case G moved up?

he starts to be hated because of all those fanboys claiming he would destroy anybody in boxing history even tough he hasn't faced great boxers at all...good opposition but nobody who stands out

I definitely agree there. To say he easily beats any ATG MW is ridiculous, but every fighter has a pocket of fans with absurd beliefs like that. People out there are certain Floyd would easily decision Duran and Leonard, for example. It's weird to hate on Golovkin for something like that.

Only problem I have with ggg is him calling out mayweather, but he doesn't want ward. It's a double standard. Other then that ggg is stuck between a rock and a hard place. The top guys don't want to fight him because the risk is higher then the reward. Same goes for him fighting ward the risk is higher then the reward for him.

So he can keep fighting who he's been fighting and ko them all. At some point things will come to him. He needs to improve his English then he could move to the next level. Where the top fighters want him because the money is big enough to take that risk.

He offered to fight ward at 164 which is halfway. Ward declined
