Yeah but PBF is 1000 light years the boxer Chocolatito is. Fair or unfair guys at his weight don't get that much respect anyway. Lastly guys down there don't have as long of shelf life either for whatever reason and are usually done by 30.

Floyd's "record" is only relelant as going through as many weight classes as he has while remaining undefeated. There are other boxers that have gone at least fifty wins without a loss so I am not sure what "record" you are referring to.

 

It didn't take Roman decades of gutless cherry-picking either. Not even sure what this record is to be honest, Olivares, Zarate, Pep, etc. all had undefeated records above 50-0.

He'll prob be cooked by 30 odd. Calderon did exceptionally well to hang on in until his mid-30s.

 

Although fighters of the lower weights do tend to have a relatively short shelf life in comparison to bigger fighters, in the case of Roman Gonzalez I'm really not too sure. This is a fighter who has pretty much had it his own way throughout his entire career. He's not exactly weathered, is he? I could see Roman competiting at the very highest level for at least another 4-5 years. It all depends if he continues to move up and push himself to the limit.

 

And you still don't know **** about boxing 10 years later.

Gonzalez could well surpass Rocky and Floyd, you would expect him to do so tbh.

He is like Calderón relying on reflexes, he batters his opponents and hasn't really taken too much punishment at all.

I imagine he'll also be a 5 weight champ as well.
