Quigg needs Frampton to make big bucks. Two way street. The difference is Frampton is a champion and Quigg is not.

If Frampton is ducking him like some of Eddie bum sniffs like to say then doing so would either force Franpton into the ring or make Frampton vacate. If Quigg was the mando, he could take his chances with the IBF and ask them to deviate from the usual 75-25 - which is within their gift - by presenting his case as to why it should be 50-50. If he has a compelling case for 50-50, that's the right place to make it. Eddie yapping to his mouthpiece 'Koogs' isn't.

I agree Rigo beats them both.

But, Frampton is a world champion and Quigg isn't. So, if Quigg wants to make the case for an equal slice of the pie then he could go off, annex a strap and return to the table for a unification bout. The quickest route for him would be to go through Rigo as he isn't ranked with any other org.

They are relevant, they just don't stand up to scrutiny.

If Frampton won't go give a shot, he can always take that momentum and knock on Rigo's door, if he likes.

Quigg hasn't headlined a show outside of his own living room. Frampton, on the other hand, has put 16,000 bums on seats - all to see him. More facts.

Quigg isn't the Floyd Mayweather of 122lbs. He is no money man. He wants Frampton to give him a leg up and do him a favour by gifting him his first ever world title shot, in his own backyard and for the biggest purse of his career. And Frampton will do all of that for him; to do so, his price is 60-40.

    I'm just repeating myself now.

    What's your point?

Come on, now. You said he has no promotional outfit to take him forward. I reminded you he is with the richest and most powerful advisor in the sport.

If you don't think that counts for much then I suggest you start with google and go from there.

Plenty of fighers are with Haymon. It doesn't mean all of them get his undivided attention and are going to become superstars under him.

Does he have a fight lined up next? Is he getting £1.5m for it?

One of his excuses was claiming the fight was worth £12 million. He's
looking for 60-40 in his favour so in fact he wants more than £6m.

So you'd rather Rigo deal with Quigg instead of Frampton. Ok.

Froch called himself a legitimate two time world champion. Having the IBF doesn't give the WBA regular any more legitimacy. If Carl beat Qiugg , you can bet your buck he and his fans would call him unified champ.
Makes no difference in this case. Carls best win is a guy Quigg obliterated in two rounds.

He turned down £1.5 and the opportunity to take Quiggs zero . To fight a no name can instead. Fact.
Frampton won't fight him unless he's forced? Ok. He does seem doubtful of his chances of a victory.
So what? What has Haymom done for him and what will he do for him?.

You think Haymon give a rats ass about Frampton. He has 100's of fighters signed to him. Frampton is neither a name nor a draw in The States.

What happened to the last guy who turned down a huge pay check against Korobov and ran away to Haymon? He went nowhere.

Haymon is just another long line of excuses of why Frampton doesn't want to fight Quigg.

Breaking my post down into seperate quotes, and answering them individually doesn't make your opinion any more relevant, YOU ARE JUST REPEATING YOURSELF !!!

Quigg and Hearn are very very aware that Scott may not be the best in the division, BUT he's one half of a big fight that makes everybody concerned a decent wedge. Framptons belt has no more leverage in negotiations, or entitle him to a bigger slice of the pie, because without Quigg, Frampton is back where he started, and thats fighting in Belfast in front of huge crowds, but earning peanuts.

Low risk, high reward is good business, so how can anybody question what Hearn is trying to do with Quigg ?

Do you honestly believe that Haymon has given Frampton more than a miliseconds thought ? I'd be surprised if he even remembered his name and Nationality.

After all the talk from team Frampton, about Carls breakthrough fight in the States, under his new advisor, he fights Gonzalez in El Paso, at 4 in the afternoon, and they couldn't give the tickets away :rofl

If the Quigg fight doesn't happen, how will Haymon possibly make himself or Frampton any real money ? He won't because there is only one fight that pays at SBW, and thats Quigg.

Quigg dismantled Framptons best win inside 4 minutes, and never broke sweat doing so, in my eyes that makes him a more than worthy challenger for Framptons belt.

You can argue about the politics and leverage of the IBF strap, but at the end of the day it doesn't legitimise Framptons argument that he's the 'A' side.

Yeah but thats not the arguement here you stated he has no "promotional outfit" other than than the biggest guy in the business who Hearn cant stop his own fighters moving to !

Doesnt matter the fight will get made this is all publicity to sell the fight. he will get more than the 1.5m for the fight now.

Genuine question. Is Haymon Frampton's promoter or 'adviser'?

Disagree. Until Frampton/McGuigan say anything that makes me think otherwise, Quigg (with Matchroom) is the money man.

I want to see this fight because it will be *******, not because of a specific belt on the line. Separating arguments about the legitimacy of different belts, this will be neither fighters mandatory. Therefore, as a voluntary defence (or even a fight with no belts on the line) they can agree whatever split makes sense.

They both bring things to the table. Frampton = bums on seats. Quigg = Money. If McGuigan interprets bums on seats as money, then make an offer

Until then, tweeting 'we will have our say soon' means jack

bit of a tricky one he is officially his adviser/manager but it has been said many times that he acts as both promoter and manager.

He is looking to become the promoter, manager, sponsor and ticket broker all rolled into one. Iv heard Bob Arum talk about how this will destroy boxing and suggesting it will lead to rigging within boxing. Bob Arum of all people lol !

So McGuigan must still be Framptons promoter - up there with Haymon for challenging the wisdom of the Muhammed Ali Reform Act

Therefore can't see the Haymon connection giving Frampton any additional negotiating power for a UK fight

Both need each other, both culpable until the fight is made until Quigg/Hearn still appear to be the ones wanting it more

but it does cos Haymon has money, and loads of it.

I aint arguin both need each other but to say that Framptons team has no clout behind them is nonesense. Haymon (or his team) will call all the shots from now on not Mcguigan. He wouldnt have signed him otherwise
