that was my original prediction, then I thought that any fight where wlad is still on his feet in germany will be a decision to him. :!:

 

Wladimir by wide decision

I think Fury will box and box well in patches but I don't think anybody is getting close to Wladimir on the cards in Germany.

Apparently the gloves are rather padded, Wladimirs choice with the gloves. Wladimir huffed and puffed through the Bryant Jennings fight and Jennings walked through everything Wladimir threw at him.

So I think this goes to the cards, could even be controversial.

I would like to wish the Germans luck if they stiff Fury on the cards, Fury will take serious support and they won't be happy if they feel robbed

 

Wlad KO's Fury early-mid rds. Fury has no chance in hell.

Fury's gameplan will revolve around footwork (he already said that long ago), a long stiff jab and an high guard, mostly.

He'll do enough to outpoint Wlad, especially in the later rounds when Wlad will be gasping for air mouth open, but the referee and the judges will manage to give Wlad his first robbery.

A ko from both sides is HIGH unlikely.

Remeber how Jennings got hurt by mediocre opposition, yet Wlad couldn't even throw his right hand, and the (American) commentators were speculating if he did broke it.

Remember how many people were wondering wtf was Wlad doing, not landing any heavy blow and being troubled by 6'3 Jennings':

1- Jab
2-Footwork
3- Body punching
4-High guard

All points that Fury can put in practice as well and better than Jennings did due to size and objectively superior boxing skills

Basically Wlad's only hope is on Fury going full re****, but it won't happen because Fury has shown a lot of maturity and patience INSIDE the ring lately (Johnson, Chisora II, Hammer), and he REALLY wants to win that fight.

He doesn't need to showboat anymore to build a fanbase, and he knows it.

Wlad was supposed to spark out Jennings with ease, yet by his own ammission he couldn't even throw the right hand, and Jennings only fought by basics, did nothing flashy or spectacular.

Haters and biased people says Fury has a weak punch resistance, but the FACTS are:

1-he's unbeaten in 24 fights
2-he has only been down twice, and in both occassions he walked straight to the punch that were as clean and as overcharghed as they get
3-in both occasions he wasn't seriously hurt, got right back up and ended the fight stopping the opponent, so his recovery skills are good and his chin not bad

4- people give him **** for being knoccked down by Cunningham with the shot of his life, well Cunningham is 6'3'' and 210 libs while being shredded, and sporting an 82 inches reach.

Ali has been down and hurt way more by a man called Henry Cooper, who was 6'0", and 185 lbs. Does this make him glass chinned?

Spot on post on every point but especially Tyson's chin. You judge a fighter's ability to take a shot by how they react to being floored, not just the fact they were down. Felix Trinidad went down a lot, but got up and blasted the other guy. Amir Khan goes down and stumbles all over the place after he regains his feet.

 

Good post and and good points.

I see if it in much the same way if Fury is going to win (not to say he will) but he has the best chance of any previous opponent - even the bookies agree on that [only Haye has ever been shorter odds to beat Wlad].

I might add I can also see Fury knocking Klitschko down late on through exhaustion, Wlad has looked ragged in the second half of a fair few recent fights including Jennings, Haye & Wach. And he was wobbled quite badly by Wach and Pulev, neither of whom are big punchers or have anywhere near the KO% of Fury.

Josh Warrington - a very smart, intelligent boxer - thinks Fury will win and has the 'style to make Klitschko look daft'

Its a great match up.
