I would say Bute but he had a solid 4 yr title run and like 8 defences. Nothing to be disappointed in but I thought he could beat Froch

Miranda, got robbed vs Abraham and I thought Taylor had a weak chin and Miranda would get him and hoped Taylor would skip Spinks and just fight Edison. Boy was I wrong

A contingent of people around the net have put him in that category, based on comments.

He was never an actual hypejob in my opinion.

David price. I knew his chin wasnt great but its a poor division with the only real quality close to retirement so thought, height, reach, power, good fast hands and physically fit he would be atleast highly ranked and challenging for world titles by now.

I just never realised his chin was so bad, he cant recover from a shot at all and now its made him a nervous wreck just like audly harrison.

Linares is probably the best example for me. I thought he was going to be really special. I may have even compared him to one of my favourite fighters ever at one point (Alexis Arguello). That might be the very definition of getting carried away.

I was on the Gamboa bandwagon too. I think he's been more mismanaged than exposed but he's still been a disappointment compared to what I was expecting.

Even though I was really young at the time, I think everyone was expecting a lot more from Breland, so I don't feel too bad about that one.

    Juan Diaz.

Although he had a successful career, I thought this kid was gonna do big things.
