    You're mistaking the LINEAL title with the WBC title. If Cotton or Alvarez get stripped of the WBC title(which is unlikely) then they STILL hold the LINEAL title.

    If that unlikely scenario happens then Bummyluvkin fights for the vacant belt against some obscure fighter nobody ever heard of. :rofl

    But hey, he's done it before.

    Well Wilder is simply just a fraud. Look at his opposition, although Stiverne is a better win than anything on Bummy's resume.. :rofl

    How can they hold the lineal title when they have no belt? Okay, he'll win the WBC title if you wish to be technical but he'll still be the main unified MW champion.

    a lot of people (me included) thought Stiverne was for real because of his handspeed and power

    turns out he's a slow plodder who's 2 best wins are a guy who lost every time he stepped up to world level, including to a bloated up LHW

    H2H Stiverne is Curtis Stevens level at best

    The same way Slappy Joe or Bernard Hopkins held the lineal title despite holding none of the big 4.

    The same way Ricky Hatton held the lineal title when facing Manny Pacquaio or Barrera held the lineal title after beating Erik Morales yet getting stripped of the WBC.

    The same way Cassamayor was the lineal champ despite Juan Diaz holding 3 belts.

    Duva says many things which don't become true. I strongly doubt that Ward will fight Kovalev any time soon.

    Even if he does, what is so heroic in one LHW fighting another one. Ward's resume looks better than Kovalev's: an Olympic LHW champion, recent p4p #2.

    Why would Golovkin's fans be upset if Ward vs Kovalev happens ???

    Lol at ggg fans being so low and desperate that they have to drag deontay wilder into this.....that's how sad ggg's career is ur trying to come back at me by mentioning a guy I have neither a positive or negative opinion on........Wilder is what he is .......I'll say this tho..his resume isn't pretty and right now it's currently sort of a joke .......but I don't go around acting like Wilder is the frigging man

    Golovkins fans would be upset with Ward fighting kovalev because it further proves what a waste and joke ggg is......he'd be daring to fight best and be great while ggg will still be chasing something that makes him no better than he currently is
