listen you obviously don't know much about amateur boxing, theres a reason wilder couldn't get pas the first round of the world amateur championships but could win a bronze at the Olympics

first the Olympics weren't seeded meaning it is possible to get a very easy draw.

    2. a disproportionate amount of useless Africans, asian and oceanic fighters get to qualify for the Olympics in the interest of it being an international competition weakening the field

widler then got a ridiculously easy draw against 2 useless Africans and really lost to one of them on countback but got a gift. he then had to fight his first half decent fight of the competition and got destroyed and embarrassed.

wilder got very lucky. can you explain why he couldn't even get past the first round of the world amateur championships?

and your not even good enough argument is nonsense too. Artur Beterbiev never won an Olympic medal because he got robbed once and was unfortunate to face usyk early on in the second Olympics. Kenny egan of Ireland won an Olympic silver medal and he isn't even a fifth of the boxer beterbiev is.

heck wilder isn't a tenth of the boxer beterbiev is and he has a medal. Luck plays a huge role and with open seeding wilder got so much luck it was ridiculous

Wilder has a personality and a fighting style that's made for TV.
He is not going to quite pass the eye test of the knowledgeable fan. But, they are well outnumbered by casuals who want to see a good fight with theatrics, blood, lots of hard punches thrown, moving back stories and the whole nine.
So, he is going to get attention. People are waiting for the next American HW hopeful to rise up. Ta daaaaaa.

If he is the goods, he will keep getting better and beat better competition on the road to Wlad. By then, he will have amassed quite a following. He is definitely a star in the making.

Actually, it wasn't that convincingly. I would rather say he was lucky to get the nod.

Not to mention he lost quite convincingly to Teper and Pianeta.

I don't think he is suitable for fighting for the European belt.

And I couldn't care less about Wilder says. He is full of **** anyways.

Despite not being some world-beater, Duhaupas was not a tomato can. It should've been common knowledge that he was better than Molina even prior to last night's fight.
