I am a Sky customer and have been for years and years and I have bought all but one boxing PPV events (Bellew Vs Cleverly II), no way was I paying for that pile of rubbish. I can say now with absolute certainty I will not buy a Brook Vs Chaves with a list full of mismatches on the undercard. It won't happen, they can add whatever they want because I have no idea how this is a PPV event anyway.
Fast Car may just wind up with a flat tire on this one.AJ vs White a PPV?Only in his dreams.Looks like 2 back to back red ink promotions,so he will be relying heavily on the "live" customers who pay for their seats.
Normally I would just pay it and not worry about it, I mean what's £20 at the end of the day? However, I think its looking like its going to get out of hand over the next few months. A PPV every month? Might as well just up everyone's Sky bill by £20 The issue isn't with the money as a one off now and then its the frequency of the PPV's and the overall quality of them. If we keep buying them in droves they will happen more often and the quality will reduce. Somewhere a line has to be drawn and a happy medium reached. A handful of top class cards a year on PPV is fine, monthly PPV's of what would normally be 'decent' nights on SS1 is not acceptable. All in my opinion obviously....
I'm boycotting this shower of s*** Mr B :good And I can say 100% I will not buy it last minute after a "scuffle" at the final presser with Adam Smith looking in to the camera all seriously and saying something like "nobody wants to see this sort of thing but there is genuine animosity here... fascinating" Then Johnny Nelson looking all wide eyed and chipping in with the old "I was in the middle of that and I can tell you this is real" That will not sway me
Is there a clause in Brook's contract that now says he has to be on PPV? Nothing will sway me on this even if Eubank/Blackwell or similar is added. The issue with putting Wlad/Fury as a standalone card on PPV must be the fact it's free to the much of Europe. Without Halling and Watt.
Genuinely laughing at those comments. So accurate! :good Makes you wonder what kind of cars we will get that aren't PPV? :think
The quality has been absolutely dreadful starting from Froch v Groves 2. Boycott every PPV and this will stick one right up Eddie's arris.
Fast Eddie and sky stick there PPV. I've already organised to take my Missus out that night so that there is zero chance of me caving in. it's not the money on this occasion it's the principle.
On another note fast Eddie cannot try to hide the fact that October 24th with Wlad/Fury was not a matchroom PPV - he was just supplying the 'undercard'. There is zero reason for this to be PPV. There is no high bill - Chaves is on peanuts. As for Brook, if he really is a big PPV star now why hasn't he got his own standalone PPV date? Joshua has with December 12th- it's all BS and lies. fast Eddie will no doubt say something like "PPV is needed to keep stars like Kell in the UK'' which again is total BS. Kell Brook would never leave Hearn especially when the Khan payday/cash out is out there potentially. Kell is known to be as insecure as an ugly bloke with a fit bird who's only with him cause he's rich..Kell would be lost with somebody like Haymon and his IBF belt means nothing to PBC who don't acknowledge it or even allow you to take the thing into the ring. Na Kell will do as he's told by fast Eddie- sky/Eddie could easily do the decent thing and make this SP1
